Unexpected love (Fili)

Ch. 9

"Wait!!" I heard Thorin stopping what was pulling , leaving me frozen in fear.  I was shaking from how fast my heart was beating . I felt Ori's timid hands as he  pulled me up and began to pass me back to Fili as I shook . I soon felt Fili's embrace . He was rubbing my arms trying to stop the shakes .

Thorin made his way to the front passing me as he went  .

"Well, well, well. look who it is .Thorin , son of Thrain, son of Thror . . . . King under the mountain. " He mocked bowing . "Oh but I forgot . You don't have a mountain. and you're not a king. . . Which makes you nobody, really. "

They stared off before The creature spoke again . "I know someone who would pay a pretty price for your head. Just a head . nothing attached . " It stepped back from Thorin as he spoke . "Perhaps you know of whom I speak . An old enemy of yours .A pale Orc astride a White Warg . "

"Azog the defiler was destroyed . " Thorin spoke Darkly . "He was slain in battle long ago . "

"So you think his defiling days are done, do you?" The creature laughed before he turned to face a creature hanging on a rope on a wheel . "Send word to the pale Orc . Tell him I have found his prize . " It laughed before wheeling away after writing what he said .

The giant began too sing as he sang the goblins began to search through our weapons all of a sudden one of them Threw down a sword with a scream .

The kings jumped back crushing a bunch of his minions under him .  I know that sword ! It is the Goblin-cleaver!" He yelled . "The Biter!" Fili and Kili covered my body as the goblins began to beat us for have the sword . "The blade that sliced 1000 necks !Slash them! beat them ! Kill them ! Kill them all ." I screamed when I felt a goblin grabbed my hair from under the boys . "Cut off his head !" I couldn't see who the Goblin king spoke about .

Soon an Explosion of wind and light threw the goblins off us and whatever had my hair was gone now . It went dark again as we all laid on the ground  we began to stir from the dizzy state that the explosion had put us through .

"Take up arms ." I heard Gandalf's deep bellowing voice command . " Fight !" He yelled I stood with Kili and Fili helping pull up the Dwarf under me as they all began to fight .  I felt the  vines grow from my palm as I shot out a vine and threw one of the goblins off of Ori . It fell from the us off the bridge we stood on .

" He wields the foe hammer! The beater ! Bright as daylight ! " The Goblin king shouted .

"Is he ever gonna shut up."  I grumbled making Fili chuckle next to me as he grabbed his sword and began to fight .

As I used my powers I could feel the grass grow under me as well as the flowers . They were softening the ground around me . thought  the plants could take purchase on the wood  we stood on . Kili and Fili swords swung around me  defending me as I defended them .

Soon Gandalf yelled . "Follow me  , Quick !"

I ran after him as did the rest of the dwarfs .

"Quickly!" He yelled as the Goblins chased after us .

We soon stopped as Goblins headed us off . But Dwalin stopped cut loose a giant piece of wood and used it as a spear with Kili, Fili, and a few more of the company  as I stood back . When it was clear I ran up and followed them kicking goblins off when they were to close but that didn't happen often . Being that I was surrounded by Dwarves who killed anything near me when it tried to get to me .

Everything went by so fast soon I was being tossed onto a new bridge as another that held all the company swung back and forth . After we landed on a steady bridge Fili lifted me from the ground and tugged me back into a run behind him .

 But soon our running and fighting stopped when The Goblin King burst through a bridge in front of us and Goblins now surrounded us .

"You thought you could escape me . " The king swung at Gandalf almost knocking him back . "what are you going to do now , Wizard?"

Gandalf was pushed forward and he hit The Goblin king in the head with his staff than sliced across his large stomach with his sword .

The Goblin king dropped to his knees and spoke after some thought . "That'll do it . " Gandalf sliced again across his neck . The Giant Goblin dropped dead shaking the bridge we were all on  soon it started to fall apart .

The Bridge broke and began to slide down the side of the rock wall on the way down I held my arms out trying to stay up as we fell .

I groaned as Gandalf helped me out of the debris I stood now by Gandalf cough from the dust .

"Well that could have been worse . " Bofur said allowed

Soon after A giant Goblin king fell on them all making me scream in fright at the suddenness .

"You got to be Joking ." Dwalin complained from the bottom of the pile .

"Fili! Are you okay !" I hollered from the side by Gandalf .

"Yeah never been better ." He groaned .

 Soon I heard Kili yell as he got from under the pile and stared at the ceiling . "Gandalf ." I turned with Gandalf to look at what he saw .

" There to many we can't fight them ." Dwalin said as helped Nori from the pile in a rush .

" The only thing that will save us  is daylight , Hurry " Gandalf reach out to Oin . "Come on! here! On your feet . "

"Fili! " I looked around the company for him when I cam face to face with him being helped out by Kili . I ran to them an pulled them along into a run after the others .

As we neared the light Gandalf stopped and waited for us all to get through .

We Ran out of the tunnel and into the light we ran through the forest dorn the hill Gandalf counting as we made it far enough away.

"Where's Bilbo ?" Gandalf asked . "Where is our Hobbit?"

"Curse that Halfling! Now he's lost ? " Dwalin yelled in frustration making me flinch as I sat on a rock near Fili and Kili.

"I thought he was with Dori !" Gloin yelled .

"Don't blame me!" Dori yelled .

"Well where did you last see him?" Gandalf asked Dori .

"I think I saw him slip away when they first collared us ." Nori said .

"So he actually made into the cave?!" I yelled I didn't think he made it in I thought he might have slipped away right before the ground broke .

"And what happened exactly ?" Gandalf demanded . "Tell me!"

"I'll tell you what happened ." Thorin spoke up. "Master Baggins  saw his chance and took it."

"He has thought of nothing but his soft bed and his warm hearth . . . since first stepped out his door . WE will not be seeing our hobbit again . He is long gone . "

"Are you finished ." I said . "You really stupid you know . A home is not a stone , Brick , or even wood structure . It isn't a whole in the ground you've filled with treasure . " I looked to him accusingly . "It's the people that fill said House  , and Right now part of my home is missing and I am not going anywhere until he's found whether it kills me or not . He wouldn't of even thought of leaving the company if it wasn't for your foolish , Bitter, and Cruel words after he nearly lost his life .!" I screamed to him now . I could feel the wind pick up as I started to cry now at the thought my little brother dead . "He's probably dead ."

"Mira calm yourself  ." Gandalf said as he stepped toward me My shoulders sank but I held my glare on the dwarf king .

"No , He isn't ." I turned around and face my brother I ran into him and held him to me .
