Unexpected love (Fili)

Ch.11

As Thorin got closer to him the pale Orc and his Warg leaped at him knocking him to the ground on his back . I could feel Dori slipping from his hold on my vine and Gandalf's staff . the tree shook when I tried to shift my vine to pull Dori and Ori back .

"Gandalf I can't !" I yelled out as I felt blood drip from my nose I haven't used magic enough in my life to be able to handle it's mantle strain being that I was mostly raised by Hobbits .

I looked to Fili who looked to the blood in worry . I looked back to Thorin barely able to see him through the smoke . I saw Thorin begin to stand But The orc Turned around and rode the orc back toward him  . It swung it's Mace and smashed into Thorin's face knocking him back again .

"Bilbo!" I yelled when He stood and started toward the pale Orc .

"Stay focused Mira !" He yelled when the tree shook again from my lack of focus .

The Warg grabbed Thorin in his mouth and began to shake him around and chew on him .

"No!" Dwalin tried to climb of the tree but the branch leaving him to hang from a snapped branch . I pushed further to try and reach out to him with another vine but I couldn't reach him completely before I began to yell out in pain . I could only make it to the break and secure it with two wraps .

Thorin sliced at it's head being thrown from him  after . the Pale Orc spoke to An Orc near him and it climbed of its Warg  and walked to Thorin . Bilbo ran to The Orc and tackled it right as it raised it's sword over Thorin .

The Orc flipped them and went to stab him but Bilbo Stuck his sword into his stomach and switched the position and began to repeatedly stab him . After the orc was dead He stumbled to  stand in front of Thorin's now passed out body . The Orc spoke in his language before the others started get closer .

I looked to Fili than to Bilbo before slumping forward no longer able to look That's when I heard Fili and Kili  yelling. I looked up to see the now blurry figures of Fili and Kili fighting off the Wargs  . I felt Dwalin climb up my vine and start to attack along with a few others of the company . The vine I had used for Dwalin retreated into me . I stood up as The pale Orc Cornered my brother .

I stood and started to scream I could feel my power rushing through my body  . I could see the glow as my body started to light up and I saw the balls of surging light in my hand . I threw it at the feet of his warg . "DON'T TOUCH THE HOBBIT !"I said but it sounded nothing like my voice it was more powerful like from another plain of existence . The pale Orc looked to Me in Shock . I Heard the Eagles show up before I was Picked up and dropped onto another Bird . I sagged onto the Bird As it began to attack the Wargs .

After a great deal of Wargs were defeated It  pick up Thorin .

When we got to safety Thorin was placed down before I climbed off the Bird. When my feet hit the ground . I fell to my knees from weakness  I looked to Thorin and crawled over to him and sat back on my heels .

"Thorin." I spoke He didn't stir .

All of a sudden Gandalf appeared and brought his hand to his eyes soon everyone was here and standing watch as Gandalf mumbled to himself . When he pulled away from his eyes he woke and whispered .

"The Halfling?"

"He's alright . Bilbo is here." Gandalf answered . "He's quite safe."

I looked behind him to see my brother there looking at us Bilbo he sighed as Gandalf turned to him . I stood as Thorin was being helped up as well to face my brother. Fili had his arm around my waist so I could lean in to him so I wouldn't faint .

" You! What were you doing ?" He demanded of my brother . "You nearly got yourself killed ! " I rolled my eyes . " Did I not say that you would be a burden ? That you would not survive in the wild ?" I Felt Fili tighten his arm on my waist not wanting me to waist my strength . "That you had no place amongst us ?" He said stepping up to Bilbo it was silent uuntil he spoke again  . "I have never been more wrong in all my life . " He wrapped his arms around my brother .

I smiled up to Fili before kissing him we broke apart and I leaned into him .

"I am sorry I doubted you ." Thorin apologized to him .

"No, I would have Doubted me too . I'm not a hero or a warrior . " He looked to Gandalf . "Not even a Burglar .

The eagles flew away and showed a view behind Bilbo that distracted Thorin and the rest of the company .

"Is that what I think it is ? " Bilbo Asked .

We all walked toward the end of the cliff to see the View  we stopped and looked as Gandalf spoke .

"Erebor , The lonely Mountain. . . The last of the great Dwarf Kingdoms of Middle -earth. "

"Our home . " Thorin whispered as I looked back at Fili who was staring at the site .

"A raven." one of the dwarves spoke but I couldn't see who as I looked at what they spoke of . "The Birds are returning to the mountain . "

"That my dear Oin, is a thrush . "

"But we'll take it as a sign ." Thorin said . "A good Omen ."

"You're right . " Bilbo said . "I do believe  the worst is behind us . "

I looked back to Fili who looked down to me and caressed my cheek and Brought my into a loving kiss . our lips saying what we felt for each other even after all the danger we had gone through and what ever may come . I knew that I had all that I needed in this Company and My Love .
