Unexpected love (Fili)

Ch.8

We all laid resting on our mats mine was now Joined with Fili's as his brother laid on his on the other side of him . Fili slept with his arm wrapped around my waist laying on his back while I laid my head on his chest .

I was unable to sleep worried about how Bilbo felt about What Thorin had said . He shouldn't have said what he said but My brother couldn't take him seriously he was stubborn and head strong fool who even argued with Gandalf with everything he said.    

I heard movement and shuffling from the other side of the room . I  looked up slightly t see my brother packed and sneaking about the sleeping dwarfs . He made passed Bofur who was on guard . I couldn't move or speak for fear of waking up Fili I didn't want him to leave so I felt a great relief when Bofur sat forward and spoke .

"Where do think you're going ?" He questioned him .

This made Bilbo Freeze so I shift a bit more to sit up further to look at Bilbo more . Who was now turned to face Bofur and could see I was up and looking to him .

"Back to Rivendell ." he said looking at Bofur only stubborn look in his eyes .

"no,no,you can't go back now,eh?" Bofur stood and walked to him trying to convince him . "You're part of the company . You're one of us . " Bofur stated .

"I'm not though, am I ?"  Bilbo said to him Before looking to me . "Thorin said I should have never have come and he was right . I'm not a took . I'm a baggins . I don't know what I was thinking . " Bofur looked to what he was looking at and saw me . tears were now falling as I could see that Bilbo wasn't gonna change his mind about going back he had his mind set . "I should have never run out my door .

"You're homesick I understand. "

I laid back on Fili trying not to  cry . "No you don't . You don't understand . None of you do .You're used to this life . living on the road not settling in one place . Not belonging anywhere. "

I could feel how his words stung Bofur by the silence that proceeded after his ramble. " Oh, I am sorry , I didn't - - " Bilbo started but was cut off by himself as he cleared his throat and didn't continue  . 

"No, You're right ." Bofur paused . "We don't belong anywhere . I wish you all the luck in the world . I really do."  I heard Bilbo shuffle probably to leave . "What's that?" Bofur asked suddenly .

It was silently for a moment Before I heard a bang from somewhere making me sit up and see Bilbo sword glowing out of it's sheath .

"Wake up ! Wake up! " I hear Thorin Yell .

I shook Fili who sat up as well as Kili  but before I could look around anywhere the ground opened up and I was falling . Not able to anything But the dwarfs falling with me . I was being thrown like a ragdoll down a rock tunnel slide . We all landed in a pile at the end a few dwarf on my legs while Fili laid under my head on top of his brother . All of a sudden ton of these ugly creatures ran to us and started pulling and shoving us all . I was lifted as one of them pulled me into there grip and pulled me from Fili .

"Fili!" I screamed .

"Let go of her !" He yelled as he was pulled along as well behind me .

They were growling and snapping as they hearded us to where they wanted .

When we got there I saw sat on a makeshift throne a giant version of them sat he stepped down as our weapons were being ripped from us .

"Who should be so bold as to some armed into my kingdom?" The giant spoke spit flying as he did. "Spies ?, Theives ?, Assassins ?"

"Dwarves your malevolence ." spoke a smaller creature .

"Dwarves?"

"We found them on the front porch ." I grabbed onto Fili's hand in worry .

"Well , don't just stand there . Search them . " The things started yank and pull on us searching through our pockets as they did Fili refused to let go of my hand ."Every crack , Every Crevice . "

They stopped searching finished looking . "what are you doing in these parts ?" The giant asked us . "Speak!" He demanded when nothing was said .

Silence was that he heard as he waited to be answered . "Very well . " He started . "If they will not talk, we'll make them squawk. ." He said to the ground of monsters . "Bring up the Mangler , Bring up the Bone breaker . " He yelled his order. "Start with the girl !than move to the youngest . " I felt something yank my leg from under me and I was being pulled from Fili's grip screaming .
