Taty's MLB Imagines [Completed]

Spotless Mind

{Originally from my Rant Book}

This is another imagine thingy. I decided I'd do a couple of these before going to Florida. This one is gonna feature two players really and it's not a particularly happy one.

This one is based off the song Spotless Mind by Jhene Aiko and it's really beautiful and reminiscent. Like always, you can imagine any players you want and yourself in it.

Change is inevitable. Why hold on to what you have to let go of? Like did I really break your heart? Was it all my fault? If you don't knock it off. You know like I know where this was headed

Natalia is ripping up every picture she had of her and Aaron. There was no point in keeping old painful memories of their failed relationship. She remembers that fateful day five years prior when she broke up with him.

"Why are you leaving?" Aaron asks as he sees her with a box of things in her hand.

"I can't do this anymore, Aaron. I'm sorry but I can't be with you anymore. I'm too much baggage and you don't need a girl like me in your life," she replies, not telling him the truth.

That day she left his Bronx apartment without letting him know that she was pregnant with his child.

She remembers the month she spent couch surfing before she finally found an apartment in Queens. She remembers how alone she felt and how terrified she was to be pregnant.

However, she was used to being alone. She had been practically alone her whole life. She was just afraid of raising a child alone.

Lani Kai was nice. Turquoise seas and ocean breezes. Loving you was nice. But it's a new day, a new season. I've been sad inside. And he could see it, picked up your pieces. We are just alike. And alright, alright, alright

She remembers the two year long relationship she had with Aaron. She remembers that time they went to Hawaii on vacation and how beautiful their relationship was.

At one time she did love him, but by the end of their relationship, she didn't feel the same spark anymore. She had become lonely and depressed. She had changed and her becoming pregnant was the wakeup call that she needed to move on from him.

A few months after ending things with Aaron, she met Michael Conforto and he changed her life. He was there for her during her pregnancy and they eventually fell in love. He was there for the birth of Natalia's beautiful daughter, Ariella, who looks so much like Aaron. Together, they became a family and things were finally looking up for Natalia.

Michael and Natalia are very similar. Michael and her have the same personality and have this natural tendency to want to be alone and to be free. They are both free spirits and she loves how he understands her, unlike Aaron. Aaron didn't understand her and that's why things didn't work out between them.

I started as a love song. 24 years in the making. Moving from place to place and. I never really settled down. Without a place to call home. I got so used to the changes. Moving from stranger to strangest. You should face it. I am crazy

She remembers when she first got with Aaron. She was 24 and was living in the Bronx, working as a bartender. She was young and wild and wasn't ready for life with someone like Aaron. She was used to moving frequently and not staying in the same place for too long. That was why she couldn't settle down with Aaron.

She was wild and crazy and was used to change. Change was something that was present in her life and she liked that when she was young. Aaron was the complete opposite, which is why things didn't work out between them.

Shame on me for changing. No, shame on you for staying the same. Shame on me for changing. No, shame on you for staying the same

One day, she's at Citi Field and for some reason Michael told her to sit near the dugout with Ariella, instead of in the Family room. It was currently the Subway Series and she was hoping she could avoid Aaron. The last thing she needs is for him to see her and Ariella and ask questions.

Unfornately, Ariella becomes fussy before the game and asks to be with Michael.

"Daddy!" she whines, wanting to be on the field with him.

She joins him on the field during warmups and Natalia unfortunately has to follow suit, praying to God that Aaron doesn't notice her.

"Natalia?" Aaron asks, walking up to her.

"Aaron," she replies in shock, not expecting him to recognize her after 5 years.

"What are you doing here?" he asks.

"I'm here with Conforto," she replies, referring to the Conforto jersey you have on.

"You're his girlfriend?" he asks, curiously.

"Wife, actually," she corrects him.

"Mommy, Daddy said he's gonna hit a home run for me today!" Ariella yells, running towards her mother.

Aaron takes a moment to notice Ariella and notices how she looks a lot like him.

"Ariella honey, let's go see Uncle Steven," Michael says, grabbing her hand and walking towards the dugout.

"Is she mine?" Aaron asks.

"Yes, Aaron," she replies, biting her lip.

"How come you never told me?" he asks.

"Because I couldn't. The reason I broke up with you six years ago is because I was pregnant. I couldn't lay that burden on you. You were busy with the team and I was going through shit. I couldn't be with you anymore. I changed Aaron and you didn't. It's as simple as that," she explains, feeling bad for having to tell him this way.

"So she thinks Michael's her father?" he asks bitterly.

"He's the only father she's ever known. One day Michael and I will tell her the truth," she explains.

"Well I'm sorry with the way things went down between us," he admits.

"Don't be. We're both happy now. I'm married and you're engaged," she replies.

Aaron Judge and Natalia Ortega weren't meant to be but both were able to find happiness. Natalia found her soulmate in Michael Conforto and Aaron Judge found his soulmate in a beautiful woman named Maddie (aaronsjudge). Things all worked out in the end and once Ariella became old enough, she built a strong bond with Aaron. Natalia even changed Ariella's last name to Judge, letting the world know about her being Aaron's daughter and Michael's stepdaughter.

I guess everyone got their happy ending after all.
