La vida me empezó a cambiar. La noche que te conocí. Tenía poco que perder. Y la cosa siguió así. Yo con mis sostén a rayas. Y mi pelo a medio hacer. Pensè: "Este todavía es un niño." Pero, qué le voy a hacer?
(Life began to change me. The night I met you. Had little to lose. And the thing went on like this. I was with my striped bra. And my hair half done. I thought, "he is still a child." But what am I going to do?)Deisay walks into a local bar in Houston, feeling like her world is falling apart. She had just lost her job and she didn't know how she would be able to afford next month's rent with no job. She walks over to the bar and orders a shot of tequila. She's 27 years old and her life is still a trainwreck.
A younger looking guy sits right next to her and she automatically notices that face. It's Carlos Correa, star short stop of the Houston Astros. How could she not recognize him? He's all over the billboards in the area. Not to mention he's always on TV doing commercials.
She notices how beautiful he looks in a button up and jeans and she notices her trashy appearance. Her hair was half done and she was wearing a see-through top, exposing her cheap striped bra from Wal-Mart.
"Jose Cuervo? You must be having a rough day?" Carlos finally asks, catching her offguard as she drowns the shot of tequila.
"I just lost my job, so yeah my life is shit right now," she replies, motioning the bartender for another shot.
"Slow down there, nena. You don't wanna get fucked up like that," he warns, causing her to melt with his smile.
Deisay stop! The man hasn't even turned 23 yet! He's too young for you!
Es lo que andaba buscando. El doctor recomendando. Creí que estaba soñando, oh, oh. De qué me andaba quejando? No sé qué estaba pensando. Voy pal cielo y voy pateando, oh, oh
(He is what I was looking for. The doctor recommended me. I thought I was dreaming, oh, oh. What was I complaining about? I do not know what I was thinking? I was bursting with happiness, oh, oh.)An hour later and the two are definitely buzzed, with Deisay being more intoxicated than Carlos. She felt like she was on Cloud 9.
Talking to Carlos, she forgot about all her problems. She forgot about the uncertainty that lays in her future. She just focused on the stories he was telling her about his rough upbringing in Puerto Rico. He made her realize that her life will change. She just has to work hard to get back up on her feet again.
Me enamoré, me ena-na-moré. Lo vi solito y me lancé. Me ena-na-moré. Me ena-na-namo... Mira que cosa bonita. Que boca más redondita. Me gusta esa barbita. Y bailé hasta que me cansé. Hasta que me cansé bailé. Y me ena-na-namoré. Nos enamoramos. Un mojito, dos mojitos. Mira que ojitos bonitos. Me quedo otro ratito.
(I fell in love, I fe-fe-fell in love. I saw him alone and I took the risk. I fe-fe-fell in love. I fe-fe-fell in... Look what a beautiful thing. What a round little mouth. I like that little beard. And I danced until I got tired. Until I got tired I danced. And I fe-fe-fell in love. We fell in love. One mojito, two mojitos. Look how pretty little eyes. I'll stay another minute.)"Do you wanna dance?" he asks her with a smile, as the song Dile Que Tu Me Quieres by Ozuna comes on.
"Sure," she smiles, the alcohol giving her a lot of confidence.
He takes her to the middle of the dancefloor and she starts grinding up against him, jamming along to the reggueton hit.
The song eventually ends and she turns around, looking directly into his eyes. He leans in and captures her lips into a sweet kiss. She kisses back, feeling herself falling in love with the young short stop.
The song Escápate Conmigo by Wisin Ft. Ozuna comes on and the two go back to dancing. They dance the night away, forgetting about their problems. She forgot about how she's currently unemployed and he forgets how he's still injured and not playing with the team.
After a while, the clock strikes 1:52am and the bar starts closing up.
"Do you wanna come back to my place?" he asks, not wanting the night to end.
"Sure," she smiles.
Contigo tendría 10 hijos. Empecemos por un par. Solamente te lo digo. Por si quieres practicar.
(With you I would have 10 children. Let's start with a couple. I'm only telling you. In case you wanna practice.)The minute the two step foot into Carlos' apartment, they immediately make their way to his room, undressing each other along the way. The two spend all night into the morning, in and under the sheets. They became a mess of sweaty, tangled limbs as they most likely got noise complaints from the neighbors for how loud they were all night.
Luckily, the next morning, neither of them regret the night before. In fact, they had even more sex the following morning.
Lo único que estoy diciendo. Vayámonos conociendo. Es lo que he estao proponiendo, oh, oh. Nos vamos entusiasmando. Todo nos vas resultando. Qué bien lo estamos pasando, oh, oh
(The only thing I'm saying. It's let's get to know each other. It's what he's proposing, oh, oh. We are getting excited. Everything is working for us. What a great time we're having, oh, oh.)"So will I see you again?" she asks, as they pull up to her apartment that night.
"Yes. In fact, will you like to go on a date with me tomorrow night?" he asks.
"I'd love to, Carlos," she smiles, before kissing him.
He kisses back for a few seconds, before pulling away. She steps out of the car and makes her way to her apartment.
The following night, he takes her out to dinner on a yacht on the Gulf of Mexico. The two talk and eat, enjoying the view of the beautiful city. After a while, he takes her home and she finds herself really falling for Carlos. She just hopes he's starting to feel the same.
Nunca creí que fuera así. Cómo te fijarías en mí? Toda la noche lo pensé. Este es pa' mí o pa' más nadie. E-es pa' mí o pa' más nadie. Este es pa' mí o pa' más nadie. E-e-es pa' mí o pa' màs nadie.
(I never thought it would be like this. How would you look at me? I thought about it all through the night. This one is for me, it's for nobody else. He-he's for me, it's for nobody else. He-he's for me, it's for nobody else. He-he-he's for me, it's for nobody else.)She never thought someone vouild make her feel like this in a matter of two days, but Carlos managed to do that. All throughout the night, she thought about how she's falling hard for Carlos Correa. She just prayd to God he's falling for her as well.
She's determined to make him hers. There was no way she wouldn't take the risk, especially since she's already had a ton of sex with him. There was no way he wouldn't be hers after all of that.
Luckily for her, the relationship between the two was able to blossom. With his help, she was able to get a nee job, and a better one than her old one. And with her help, he was able to recooperate from his injuries snd get back to playing short stop for the Houston Astros, helping lead the team to the postseason.
I guess you could say that faith brought Carlos and Deisay together that early September night.

I hope you enjoyed this one Deisay! You definitely deserve some happiness after the shitty week you endured with Hurricane Harvey. I'll catch y'all in the next one
