I knocked on the door of the resort room. I heard quiet sobbing on the other side.
"Blair, open the door," I said knocking once again.
"No!" I heard her scream from the other side.
"Blair, now," I said stronger.
"No!" She yelled again.
"I'm not mad, I need to talk to you about something," I said gently to her. I watched the door handle turn and the door creaked open. Blair's eyes were red and filled with tears. I pulled her into a hug. "Why do you think I'm mad?" I asked.
"Because I took the guy you love," She choked up. I pushed her away and looked into her eyes.
"I don't love Brendon, and I never will," I told her. She looked away from my eyes. She took a deep breath.
"I know, I know that's what you think, but is it what you feel?" She asked me. It took me a minute to process what she was saying.
"What do you mean?" I asked her. She thought for a moment.
"Just say yes, Jaclyn," Blair said out of nowhere.
"Say yes to what?" I asked confused. She pulled me into another hug.
"You'll know, Jaclyn, you'll know," I pulled away from the hug.
"Oh, yeah, I have a question," I said to her. She looked at me, motioning me to continue.
"I wanted to know if you knew this guy that I met. He had short brown hair, it was completely shaved. He had on a black shirt and shorts. He had a few weird looking tattoos on his arm. He had perfect white teeth. What was his name? Thomas, I think" I explained.
"Did he have a friend with him?" She asked rolling her eyes.
"Yeah, do you know him?" I asked.
"Was his name by any chance Tyler?" She asked, putting her face in her palms.
"Yeah... How did you know?" I asked. She lifted her head.
"How the hell do you keep meeting these people?" She asked confused.
"Who is he?!" I yelled laughing. She rolled her eyes smiling.
"Tyler Joeseph, the singer for Twenty One Pilots, everyone fangirls over him, I don't, I don't get what the big deal is over him," She shrugged.
"I understand why," I bit my lip.
"No! You have Brendon! Stop fantasizing about Tyler!" She yelled.
"2 things wrong with that sentence, first thing, I'm not getting with Tyler, second thing, I'm not with Brendon," I rolled my eyes laughing.
"Yeah for now," Blair mumbled, she probably hoped I didn't hear her but I did.
"Why do you want me to be with Brendon so badly?" I asked her. She just smiled.
"I can't tell you, just say yes," She said again.
"Say yes to what?" I asked again.
"You'll know," Blair said. I rolled my eyes. I jumped at a phone call. Blair and I laughed and I answered the call.
"Hello?" I asked into the phone.
"Hey Jackie," I heard Brendon on the other line.
"Hey, Brendon, what's up?" I asked. Brendon hadn't done anything in a little while to make me pissed at him, I could at least try to be nice to him.
"I was wondering if in... about a week you would go to a party with me?" Brendon asked me. I turned toward Blair. Was this the question? I smiled.
"Yes Brendon I would love to," I gently bit my lip. Blair's face turned pale, and a look of shock took over her once calm smile.
"Um, you know, you would be going to this party... as like, my date, right?" Brendon said, getting a little softer.
"I know Brendon as I said, I would love to," I said again smiling, I heard a small sigh on the other line. Brendon was expecting me to decline him.
"Oh, one more thing!" Brendon yelled.
"Yes, Brendon?" I asked, slightly smiling.
"Do you think, you and I, would like... be together? Like a girlfriend and boyfriend? Just us?" Brendon asked. He sounded like a little kid asking his crush out. I laughed slightly.
"Brendon, I think that would be wonderful," I smiled at his childishness.
"Okay, I gotta go," Brendon said, I knew I couldn't see him but I sensed the smile on his face.
"Okay bye Brendon," I smiled, as I was about to hang up I heard Brendon mumbled something. I brought the phone back to my ear.
"Did you say something?" I asked.
"No!" Brendon yelled and the call ended. I shrugged and threw my phone onto the bed.
"So?" Blair said, smiling widely.
"So what?" I laughed. Blair's smile faded away, and I look of confusion took over.
"Nevermind, what did he have to say?" Blair asked me.
"Well, I have a boyfriend," I smirked. Blair pulled me into a hug.
"I'm so happy for you! Not what I expected, but I'm happy for you!" Blair said, which made me more confused, and curious.
"What do you mean? What did you expect?" I asked. She rolled her eyes and smiled.
"You'll find out," Blair said, once again.
