Arthur's POV

"What do you mean our dad has gone," said Adair looking very upset by the news I had just delivered to him and his brothers and sisters.

"Your father has gone back to the village."

"Without us?" asked Percy speaking up.

"Yes without you. I believe he has gone back to talk to your mother. He wants his whole family to be happy and not to upset me too. I think he has gone to talk to your mother about convincing her to want to stay in Camelot," said Arthur.

"He actually listened to me?" asked Adair as he stood up from the table we all sat around.

"Yes he did," I smiled to him.

"I can't believe it. I thought we would be going back. I thought he had made his mind up and didn't care. I guess I was wrong," Adair said to me.

"Maybe we all were," I said to him as I brought him into a comforting hug.

"Yeah," smiled Adair as we pulled apart.

"Does this mean we have a good chance of staying here?" asked Amy.

"Yeah it does," said Adair looking at his sister.

"We should celebrate and do something," cheered Anya. Everyone agreed and looked at me.

"Why don't I fetch everyone else and we can have a celebration feast," I said to them all. Everyone cheered to agree.

Zana's POV

"I'm sorry I never told you Gwaine," I said sitting on my bed my head buried in my hands. Gwaine pulled my hands away from my face and took them within his.

"I'm happy you told me now. Don't worry I'll make sure nothing ever happens. If they dare do anything I'll be here to make sure nothing ever happens to you, to our daughter or to Camelot," said Gwaine bringing me into a hug.

"Thanks Gwaine that really means everything to me," I said to him happily. Someone knocked on the door.

"Come in," Gwaine called.

Sienna came into the room smiling. "Hey there is a celebration feast in about half an hour. Everyone is invited, you two are coming right?" she asked us both.

"Of course we are," said Gwaine.

"We'll be along very shortly," I beamed at her.

"That's great," she smiled before she left the chamber.

"We can't tell her," I said to him.

"I know."

Merlin's POV

After thinking about what Adair had said I knew him to be right. Maybe I could convince Anna to come back to Camelot and live here. I know there is every chance she could say no but I had to try. After what Adair had said, after him saying he would never forgive me. I have to try for my kids. They deserve to be happy and Camelot does that for them.

I'm now on my way back to the village to talk to my wife in hope she comes back with me and Helen would likely come back with us too. She only stayed there with my wife because I asked her. I owe a lot to Helen and I would say I'm beginning to trust her a lot more than I thought I ever would.

I'm not that far out of the village now but I may have to make camp for the night. As I galloped through the forest that was when I heard this strange sound, I stopped looking around. What is that? I got off my horse to look around a bit more. That was my biggest mistake.

"Merlin," I heard a whisper so soft, so close but I couldn't make it out. As I looked around this strange mist began to swarm around me, like it almost wrapped around me, around my lungs. I began to cough, I couldn't breathe. My eyes begun to blur and I collapsed to my knees in shock and pain.

"Who is there," I called into the mist knowing this had to be some kind of attack.

"Your worst nightmare," I heard a whisper before my eyes flickered shut my whole body losing the will to go on. The world turned blank.

Adair's POV

My eyes shot open the fear swarming around me as I took deep breaths into my lungs to stay calm. What I had seen stood clearly in my mind, making me shake with anger and fear. My father is in danger.
