Chapter 24

Zayn's POV

I carefully sat up and rubbed the back of my neck. Why the hell did Jasmine break my neck!? She just suddenly started screaming at me and next thing I knew I blacked out.

"Jasmine!" I screamed as I walked through the house at a fast speed. I swung her bedroom door open without knocking, she wasn't there. Where is she?

I ran over to the other end of the house where Louis' door was open. I walked in and Louis was laying there, she snapped his neck too! I turned my head to the left to see Jasmine hiding in the corner, crying.

"I- I just turned around and Louis' neck was snapped!" she cried.

"Jas, stop lying."

"W-what?"

"You went crazy and snapped my neck and then you ran in here and did the same to Louis! How can you not remember that?" I asked.

"I don't know. I don't remember any of that it's like I…blacked out."

"What? Jasmine just make sure you're telling the truth."

"I am, Zayn!" she cried. Jasmine stood up and walked towards me. "What's going on?"

"I have no idea, babe." I replied honestly. The only thing I could do was grab her wrist and gently pull her into my arms. Jasmine wrapped her arms around my neck and set her head on my shoulder. I looked down and she was on her tippy toes.

"I'm so sorry."

"It's ok love. We're going to figure out why you keep blacking out."

"I'm tired of being scared all of the time." she confessed. I slipped my hand under her chin and lifted her head up so I was looking into her eyes.

"It's going to be alright. I'm not going to let anything happen to you or the baby. Jas, I know that your scared to bring this baby into the world but we can't kill an innocent baby, we can't kill our baby." I cooed before placing a hand on her small baby bump. The baby would be here soon.

"I just don't want to bring him into this world. Clare told me that the creature world could go into war at any minute. How come you guys didn't tell me any of this?" she rambled.

"Wait…him?" I questioned with a huge smile on my face.

"I found out yesterday. Turns out that Louis could…read something in my brain to tell if the baby is a girl or boy. And it's a bot!"

"I love you." I blurted out.

"I love you too. But, you never answered my question! Why didn't you guys tell me about everything that's going on?" she asked, referring to all of this drama and potential war going on between the good and bad halves of the creature world.

I sighed, "I don't know. I guess we just didn't know how to tell you. Wait, who the hell is Clare?"

"Last week she sent me a text and told me she would be here at seven, I think and then Abe just showed up and told me about a lot of things. She said she was going to help." she replied.

"That's strange." I murmured. I heard someone groan, we looked over and Louis was standing up, rubbing his neck.

"Louis!" Jasmine shouted as she ran up to him and jumped in his arms. A pang of jealousy hit me hard as I clenched my fist. She hugged Louis but he didn't hug her back so Jas pulled away with a frown on her face.

"We need to get Carlos over here, now." I said.

"Why?" Louis asked.

"Jasmine keeps blacking out and she snaps people's necks but doesn't know or remember what she's doing." I informed him.

"I'll call him."

"Let's go get you dressed." I smiled at Jasmine, setting my hand on the small of her back and guiding her into her room. It was still morning so she was only in her pajamas. When we got to her room she walked inside and shut the door.

Jasmine's POV

I turned around and Clare was standing right behind me. I jumped and she covered my mouth so I didn't scream.

"What are you doing here?" I whisper/shouted.

"We need to talk."

"You've got to stop just appearing in my room like that!"

"It started." she informed me. What is she talking about?

"What started?" I asked, getting a little annoyed at her lack of words.

"The war."

My heart stopped and my breathing hitched. I stumbled backwards and opened the door. "Z-zayn!" was the only thing I could manage to say. Fear was taking my body over. I began seeing things.

Zayn ran through the door, "Rebekah." he growled. Wait, she's actually there?

A/N: I am SOOO sorry for the wait. I've been really busy. I wanted to make the chapter longer but I couldn't keep you all waiting. At least I left it at a cliffhanger! :)
