Chapter 21

Jasmine's POV

I picked up my phone and called Connor. "Are you on your way?"

"I'm pulling in the driveway now." Connor informed me.

"Ok, just come on in and walk straight to my room."

I hung up and set my phone on my bed. I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of nervous! If any if the boys find out, they'll hate me. This has to remain top secret.

I can't be pregnant, not yet. I know that it's really rare for vampires but maybe in a few years when I know who 'the one' is, then maybe we'll try again. But it's too early to have a baby, I'm not ready.

My bedroom door opened. I smiled at Connor as he smiled back before shutting the door. "Hi love!"

"Hello Connor! I missed you." I stated as he pulled me into his embrace. It's only been a week since I've seen him but I missed him so much! I love him, I don't know if it's a best friend, brotherly love but I just know that I love him.

"Here you go." he said as he handed me the bag, "Are you sure you wanna go through with this?"

"I'm sure."

"Okay. I'll be right here with you." Connor assured.

"Thank you so much, Connor!" I tried my best to smile as I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug again. I'm really going through with this.

Connor pulled away, "You're welcome."

"Just promise that you won't tell anyone about this!"

"I promise, love."

I grabbed the bag Vervain from Connor. I grabbed a water bottle and was getting ready to eat the Vervain when suddenly I heard a snap of bones.

"Connor! Oh my gosh!" I cried as I sat on the floor next to his limp body. "Somebody help!"

All of the boys came rushing into the room. "Holy shit!" Louis muttered as he tried to get me back on my feet.

"Don't! Get some help!" I cried as I pushed Louis' hand off of me.

"What happened?" Liam asked.

"Stop asking questions and get somebody!" I shouted in between tears.

"Jas, he's de-" Niall began.

"No! No! H-he can't be!" I cried in denial.

"Jasmine." Louis whispered as he tried to stand me back up on my feet again.

I ran my hand through Connor's blond hair as I cupped his face, "Come on, Connor! Wake up. Please."

"Baby, I'm so sorry." Louis stated as he bent down next to me.

"He's going to be ok. He'll wake up soon!" I shouted.

"Jasmine he's dead!" Louis shouted as he took my face in his hands. Vampires can get their necks snapped, fall from a cliff, drown and much more but they'll always come back to life unless it's fire, they hit their head too hard or they get a stake to their heart. But werewolves die at anything that would kill a human. I just don't want to lose him!

I'm in denial.

"Stop! Your lying!" I cried.

"Jasmine, when would I ever lie to you?"

I looked over to where Connor used to be but the boys picked him up. Louis was just distracting me! I got up and chased the boys, "Where are you going with his body?!"

"We can't just let him lay there!" Harry said.

"W-what are you going to do with it?"

"Burn it…it's the only thing we can do. We can't burry him because we can't go outside." Niall replied.
