Chapter 13

Carlos' POV

"You did what?!?!" I screamed.

Rebekah shot be a glare, "I made a deal with Jasmine."

"What deal?"

"I let her out s-" she began before I cut her off.

"Why the hell would you do that?"

"Let me explain! Anyways, I let her out so she can say goodbye to those boys. She has until noon tomorrow. At noon, she'll come back so I can do the ritual." she stated.

"You promised no more black magic! And I'm NOT letting you kill Jasmine!" I shouted.

"You aren't my father."

"No but I'm your boyfriend!" I said as I ran towards her. Rebekah put her hand in the air and everything around me began spinning. There was a sharp pain in my head. "S-stop!"

"Sorry babe." she laughed before I dropped, darkness consumed me.

Jasmine's POV

I want to tell them. I'm going to have to tell them sometime soon. I know that they'll react badly. I never wanted to hurt them but it's the only way.

"Jas…you're hiding something." Louis stated. I lifted my head to see all of the boys staring at me with concerned looks of their faces.

"N-no I'm not." I said. I'm such a terrible lier!

"I can't read your mind for some reason." he added.

"That means that someone must of put a block on her mind." Liam informed.

"Liam, take away the  mind block. You're ability is to tamper with the mind." Harry said.

"It's not that simple. The only person that can remove a mind block is the same one that put it there." he replied.

"Jasmine, what are you not telling us?" Niall asked.

"It'll be okay. You guys will be safe after this, I promise." I stated.

"You aren't making any sense. What's going on?" Zayn asked.

"I made a deal with Rebekah."

"Why would you do that?" Niall yelled.

"So I could see you all one last time."

"No!" Louis protested.

"What was the deal?" Harry asked.

"I could come back with you all until noon tomorrow than I have to go back to Rebekah so she can use me for her ritual."

"Why would you do that?" Louis asked weakly.

"I needed to see you guys one more time. You'll all be safe now, I promise." I cried.

"We have to stop Rebekah!" Zayn said.

"Get your head out of your bum! She's already put Carlos into a coma. She'll destroy you all in a heart beat. Why can't you guys just enjoy and accept the time you have left with me?" I sobbed. Why did this have to be so hard?

They all just looked at me, speechless.

"No…" Zayn whispered. "I will not sit here and let you die!"

Zayn stood up and walked out of the room. We heard the front door slam shut. Great! We all exchanged looks before I stood up. "I'm going after him." I stated.

"Jasmine wait!" I heard Louis' voice as I went to reach for the knob on the front door. Louis grabbed my wrist and turned me around. "I'm going with you."

"No. Just stay here."

I kissed Louis cheek and ran out the door before he could protest. I hopped into Liam's car. He really shouldn't have left his keys in the ignition! I started the car and drove off.

The castle isn't too far from where we are staying. About and hour, maybe.

I burst through the huge castle door, I heard something break. I quickly followed the noise. It led me to a circular door. I opened the door and sure enough, I found Zayn. On the floor holding his head.

Before I could tell Rebekah to stop, Zayn dropped! "Zayn! What did you do to him?" I shouted as I sat of the floor beside his unconscious body. I set his head in my lap.

"I put him in a coma." she said casually.

"What is wrong with you?!"

"Nothing, he was trying to get in the way of the ritual." she replied. "I need this ritual to work."

"What is the ritual for?" I asked.

"Zayn will wake up in about a day. Let's go ahead and start the ritual early so we can make sure that nobody else comes looking."

Rebekah walked over to what appeared to be a closet. She unlocked the door and three people stumbled out.

"Come on, get into your places. The ritual is starting earlier than expected." Rebekah ordered. "The werewolf is in the back right corner. Vamp, get back to the left corner. I need the fairy in the front right and the shapeshifter over there!" She commanded as we all stood in our places.

My palms were sweating. This is really it, I'm going to die.

"First, I need shapeshifter blood. But you have to be in your normal and original shape." Rebekah stated. The girl changed into an older woman. She bit her lip as a tear rolled down her cheek.

The woman stood right in front of Rebekah. Rebekah pit her hand on the woman's forehead. "elisi munihun stiu le!" she whispered. Smoke rose from the floor around us. Without hesitation, Rebekah pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman in the stomach.

There was a cry of pain before she dropped to the ground. I covered my mouth. "Fairy, your next."
