"(Child's name), are you okay?" Kōshi hugged the innocent little boy who came home from school, crying.
"I miss mummy."
Kōshi's eyes went teary.
"It's okay. Me too."

"guess it's true i'm not good at a one night stand."
*flashback*
"Kōshi you're so gentle." You laughed.
"Hm?"
"I mean like- imagine if you were like- Kuroo or something. Imagine the things we'd be doing."
"Yeah, imagine."
*end of flashback*
"but i still need love 'cause i'm just a man."
I miss her.
"these nights never seem to go as plan."
That night. That night he sent you off.
"i don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?"
"(Child's name), sorry," he sighed, "It's mostly my fault that she died."
"oh won't you stay with me?"
"It's okay, daddy. I still love you. It's not your fault." (Child's name) cried into Kōshi's shoulder.
"I miss her a lot too. You know how much I love mummy right?" He smiled sadly.
"'cause you're all i need."
"You love her very very much." (Child's name) sobbed. Kōshi had to put up a strong front for his sake.
"Yeah. She was a very strong girl. Very smart and funny too." He stroked (Child's name)'s hair.
I need you here, (First name). He thought throughout the day.
"this ain't love it's clear to see."
It wasn't just love. It was so much more. I miss her. I wish (Child's name)'s could live a happier life.
He wiped his eyes as he hugged (Child's name) tighter.
"but darling, stay with me."
"Why did mummy die?" (Child's name) asked later after dinner.
"I let her stand next to me when we hiked up the mountain together. I tried to hold on. I was too weak. She fell. I'm so sorry. You were only 4." Kōshi sighed.
"Sorry I reminded you." (Child's name) hugged
"It's okay, anyways, you need to sleep. I'll read you a bedtime story. Come on, let's go." He said between tears.
"why am i so emotional?"
Kōshi sighed as he looked over to your side of the bed that was not warmed by you anymore.
