Virgil waited like Patton told him to do, though he wished he hadn't. Maybe if he hadn't waited he wouldn't be in a damp cell with a not-so-happy cell-mate - not that he could blame the other for being unhappy, the cell was cramped enough as it was.... and it stunk. Badly.

"So... uh... welcome to where I grew up!" Virgil exclaimed in order to break the tense silence that surrounded them. "Sorry we didn't notice your absence."

"It's fine, Depression meddled with your heads in order to make you all believe that I was there, and it isn't like anything would've been different if I was.... I am useless with emotions. But onto more pressing matters, you grew up in this.... building?"

"Not just this building, this is my room... er cell!" He was far too enthusiastic for someone who had just been kidnapped by their ex-mentor. "But even more pressing matters, why do you believe you would've been useless?"

"Why are you acting so... out of character?" He questioned, unwilling to answer the other.

"Drugs. Now answer my question, I asked first after all," Virgil was not allowing Logan to change the subject, it was obviously something they needed to discus.

"I always am. The others.. they understand emotions, they can name them an describe them, and I can't. The only thing that I'm actually good for is thinking and I cant even do that right!" He yelled in frustration, pulling at the chains around his wrists and connecting them to the wall behind them.

"Just because you can't name or describe emotions doesn't mean you're useless. You logically talked me out of a panic attack and I am sure you've helped both Pa-Morality and Prince several other times. Emotions aren't everything," Virgil countered as he longed to hug the distressed hero.

"I just.... okay. But how can we escape?"

"We can't," Virgil replied bluntly.

"Then... what do we do?"

"We wait. This place is built to keep me specifically in, it is built to withstand my powers, but it isn't built to keep them out. We have to wait for them to realise we're gone, until then we're stuck here," He explained and Logan let out a sigh of annoyance. His reasoning was sound, but Logan had already been there for a day and a half and he really didn't want to stay; it really did smell.

He briefly wondered how Virgil survived before wondering if he had ever known anything other than the bars that imprisoned him. He probably hadn't.

"So.... how are the others?" Logan asked, something akin to worry in his voice.

"Uh.. kinda sad? But that was my fault...." he trailed off, getting lost in thought for a moment before snapping back into reality.

"What?"

"This place isn't built to stop both of us! You're telepathic and telekinetic, right?"

"Yes,"

"Unlock my cuffs, please I have an idea."

Logan concentrated on the mechanism inside the mental cuffs, he imagined a key turning in the lock. A click echoed through the cell and Virgil's handcuffs fell off.

"Okay, now unlock yours. I hope these bars are as weak as they used to be," Virgil said as he imagined reality bending around him, the bars twisting in on themselves and making an exit for the two men. A click, the sound of metal rubbing against metal, and a thud.

The exit was made and they both walked outside the cramped cell.

"How did you do that?" Logan asked curiously.

"Doesn't matter, c'mon. He'll notice our absence soon." Virgil grabbed his hands and slowly moved through the building, carefully looking round corners to make sure depression wasn't there.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, I mean you're high, aren't you?" Logan whispered as he tried to slow his frantically beating heart.

"Nope, just said that to shut you up," Virgil mumbled back, before quickly stopping.

"Is he there?"

"Yeah.... and he isn't alone."
