Close to an hour into the drive home Brian felt the waves of fatigue slowly start to hit him. He played music, hoping that would keep his brain occupied enough to keep his eyes open. Brian was drained though. He needed a good night's sleep to boost his energy level. But he knew he had to get Bella back home if he wanted to avoid staying out of jail.

He realized that wasn't working when he heard car horns and had to swerve back into his own lane. That made Bella started to cry. "Shh, it's okay Baby girl. We're fine. We're cool. Just a close call that's all." Brian breathed a sigh of relief, thanking God nothing too serious had happened as he continued to drive back to Staten Island.

He talked Bella back to sleep and the car ride got too quiet again. He yawned, trying to keep his eyes open. He shook his head, Beth wanted Bella home safely. He intended to do just that and prove to her that he could be a good Father. The twenty-five year old couldn't believe that he could stay awake for a party but when it came to taking care of his daughter it seemed he couldn't keep conscious. He knew there was quite the difference between the two but if Beth was able to do it, then he should be able to as well.

Brian didn't feel the bumps in the road telling him he was swerving again as he nodded off. He didn't hear the Jeep start skidding against the dividing barrier until it was too late. Something had woken him up, maybe it was the loud noise as the barrier scratched against the Jeep's red paint or Bella's cries but he tried to correct himself and ended up over correcting, landing him in the second lane just then another car came, smashing into his own not having enough time to stop.

Brian heard Bella crying then felt the throbbing pain in his legs. He slowly opened his eyes and was horrified at the scene playing out in front of him. The other car a green Rav4 and his Jeep were crumpled messes of metal, there was white smoke coming out of both vehicles hoods. He tried to move, he kept twisting his body to try and reach Bella, but his legs were pinned underneath the dashboard and he was pretty sure at least one of them was broken. As Brian was trying in vain to get to Bella he suddenly stopped hearing her crying and that scared him more than anything.

"Bella! Baby girl.... Daddy's right here." He swallowed back the lump in his throat, fearing for his daughter's life. As Brian had his head craned back to try to catch a glimpse of his daughter but only saw the fabric of the car seat canopy.

He heard the sirens next and someone yelling at him asking if he was ok, but he was too concerned about Bella. "I'm okay... My daughter, she's not crying anymore." He told the person who had come to see if he was alright, "She needs to wake up!" He started to cry, fearing the worst. "Please help my baby!"

The Good Samaritan asked, "Hey there buddy. It's ok, calm down. What's your little girl's name?"

"Isabella Quinn, please tell me if she's alright." Brian pleaded with the man as he rushed over to where Bella was in the back seat of the Jeep and began singing to the little girl as he didn't dare move her. The Good Samaritan was unsure of what her injuries could be and he didn't want to hurt her any more than she already was. That is if she was even still alive, the Good Samaritan didn't want to alarm or upset Brian any further than he already was from the trauma of the accident so the man remained calm and kept singing to the baby.

Next Brian saw the Jeep surrounded by police and fireman. Before he could react he was being cut out of the Jeep, finally freeing his legs, they put him on a backboard. The whole time the rescuers were helping Brian he would only repeat "Bella! My daughter's still in the car! Don't worry about me just get her out safely." But they were only focused on helping him at that time.

"We'll get her out and to the hospital, Sir. You have nothing to worry about." One fireman replied after they had freed Brian.

Brian numbly nodded as he looked at the scene in front of him. He had caused it. His lip quivered, worried sick about Bella and the people from the other car. He wanted to make sure they were okay too.

Beth sighed, as she paced the hall. "Where is he?!"

"Beth. It's okay. We don't even know where he took her so we have no idea how long it will take him to get back to Staten Island. It's only been an hour." Jessa tried to comfort her sister rubbing her back and reiterating her previous statement. "I'm sure it just takes some time to get back here. Like, maybe there's traffic, some roadwork or something."

"I'm not going to relax until Bella's safe in my arms..." Beth said as the shrill ring of the phone cut her off. She picked up the phone, not recognizing the number. "Hello?"

"Miss Elizabeth Baldwin?"

"This is she. Who is this?" Whoever it was sounded very professional and that scared her.

"This is Deputy Bill S. Preston, Esq from the Bucks County police department." Beth's heart started pounding heavily in her chest; tears sprang to her eyes as she listened. "There's been an accident involving your husband and daughter Brian and Isabella Quinn. Brian asked us to call you. We need you to come down to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Mayfield, Pennsylvania as quickly as you can." Beth tuned out the rest. She had no idea where the hospital was, where Mayfield, PA was and to top it all off, she just couldn't believe that Brian was that stupid and put their daughter in danger. Bella was hurt it was all Brian's fault.

Beth finally snapped back to reality, her thoughts immediately on her daughter. She had to know what was going on. "How's Bella?! Is she alright?"

"We need to you come down here. I can't reveal anything further over the phone madam." The officer repeated which only made Beth worry more. "I understand. I am on my way." She hung up with the police officer and looked at Sal and Jessa who had looks of worry etched on their faces.

"What's going on? What happened?" Jessa asked. "You look as pale as a ghost."

"Brian.... He was in a car accident. I don't know what exactly happened but he and Bella are in the hospital." Beth said.

Jessa walked over to her sister, hugging her. She felt her sister cling to her, starting to cry. "They wouldn't tell me anything about Bella..." Beth sobbed. "What if she's... she's dead? I can't live without my baby girl...."

"Hey don't think that way. I am sure everything is fine. Stay strong for Bella. Being a mess won't help this situation at all. Let's just get to the hospital." Jessa advised, trying to remain strong for her sister at a time like this.

"Where are they?" Sal questioned.

"Saint Joseph's Hospital in Mayfield, Pennsylvania. But I don't understand why would he be in Pennsylvania?" Beth trailed off.

Sal groaned lowly, realization hitting him immediately. He knew exactly where Brian was this whole week and it didn't even dawn on him until just then that Brian had gone to the old cabin in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania where they used to hang out as teenagers.

Sal nodded but didn't say another word, knowing Beth would light into him about having that kind of information and not telling her about it so they could find Bella sooner.

The three headed for the car, driving an hour away to find out Brian and Bella's fate.
