Chapter 6

                After a few minutes have passed, I got up and headed downstairs to see if Fang was still here. She wasn't but there at the bar was Izumo who was looking through his phone.

        "If you're looking for Fang, she's gone," Izumo spoke.

        "I came down here for a drink," I replied.

        "I know that's not really why you're here," Izumo sighed grabbing a glass.

        "Now why on Earth would I care about her running out of here?" I questioned.

                Izumo looked at me while he poured some liquor into the clear glass. He slid the drink over to me, and stood there with his arms crossed.

        "Mikoto, we both know that you still care about her," he stated.

        "Izumo how long have you known?" I asked taking a sip of the liquor.

        "I've known for the past six months," he answered adjusting his glasses.

                Six months? How long has she had this planned? I sighed.

        "She's going to get herself killed," I commented shaking my head.

        "I wouldn't underestimate Fang," Izumo chuckled, "she's a lot tougher than she looks."

                        Fang's POV

        "Stupid jerk," I muttered walking down the street.

                I can't believe him! What's his problem? So what if I have Homra's mark, it's not like it matters. My anger was getting the best of me. My nostrils were flaring and my face was warm. My hand reached for the back pocket of my jeans and whipped out my phone. I had received a text from Tilly.

Tilly: Hey what's up with you? You've been back for a week and I've only seen you once!

Me: Meet me at the Star Shine Cafe.

Tilly: Okay!!! :}

                I rolled my eyes at her reply and headed for the cafe. When I got there the place seemed to have a steady follow of people coming and going. As I walked in the small glass building, I looked for my little purple haired friend. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a hand go up and started waving around like crazy. I turned and sure enough it was Tilly. I walked over to the table trying my best to avoid bumping into people.

        "Wow I'm surprised I was here before you," she chimed.

        "Yeah me too," I said taking a seat across from her.

        "So whats up?" She asked with a smile.

        "Well I went to see Reisi," I began, "left and ran into Izumo. Went back to the bar and had a chat with Mikoto."

        "Really," she exclaimed leaning in, "tell me everything!!!"

                I sat there for a moment and looked at her. You could tell Tilly was excited to hear this. Her eyes grew huge and twinkled. It reminded me of how Harmony was when she first found out that Mikoto and I were going out.

        "You're getting way to excited about this," I sighed, "all I did was tell Mikoto why I'm back."

        "Oh," she replied sitting back in her seat.

        "Sorry to disappoint you," I mumbled.

        "Have you found anything out about that gang you're looking for?" She asked taking a sip of her drink.

        "Not really," I said running my hand threw my hair, "I really don't know where to start."

        "How about talking to Reisi about it and looking into some old articles to see what you can find" Tilly suggested.

                Would Reisi help me? I sat there for a moment. He's with Scepter 4, there's no way! All of a sudden Tilly squealed, causing me to look up at her.

        "We can go see Gidget" She gasped.

        "That's it!" I replied jumping out of my seat, "Come on Til!"
