Fang's POV
I stood there looking at Fushimi as the elevator kept moving to its destination. How can someone like him possibly help. Why would he want to help me anyways? My irritation was getting the best of me at this point.
"How you you possibly help me," I hissed, "for all I know you could be some rookie that just got hired in."
"I mean I don't see Reisi coming to help you," he smirked.
"You are an asshole," I snapped.
"Well in that case, I'll take my leave," he said chuckling.
He pressed another button. Not even a minute later the doors of the elevator started to open. As he was walking out I caught his arm. No way was I going to let my chance for help slip out from under me.
"How can you help me," I replied calmly.
"Well I can look into the records of the case and go from there. I can probably get you their location," he smirked, "but it comes at a price."
I raised my eyebrow not to sure what this 'price' was. I sighed shaking my head before I spoke.
"What is it that you want in return?" I asked.
"I think you can guess what I want," he smirked moving his hand to my waist.
I quickly released his arm, and moved back. Is he serious? No way in hell!
"No, I actually want you to give me info on the Red Clan," he replied.
"What type of info?" I questioned running my hands through my hair.
"I just want to know what they are up to that's all," he said.
I stood there hesitating for a minute. Why does he want to know about them? What could he possibly need to know? I looked him in the eyes and saw no emotion whatsoever.
"Deal," I said.
"Great" he smirked as he stepped out of the elevator, "I look forward to working with you."
With that being said the doors slowly closed behind him. As I stood there waiting to reach my floor I couldn't help but wonder if I made the right decision. Deep down I feel like I didn't but who else would have helped me. I sighed, unsure of my current situation.
Once the doors opened I left. I didn't want to be here anymore.Walking outside was refreshing. I felt like my anger and irritation had vanished into thin air. Sadly that didn't last long, because as soon as the building was out of sight, Izumo appeared.
He was leaning up against this building having a smoke. Instead of stopping I kept on walking. I already knew Izumo would follow me though.
"Did you get what you wanted?" He asked following closely behind me.
"Well last time I checked it wasn't any of your business," I chimed in irritation.
"Hate to break it to you Fang," he began as he caught up to me, "but it is because Mikoto asked me to keep an eye on you."
I stopped turning to look at him.
"Last time I checked I didn't need a babysitter" I snapped, "since when does that fucker care?"
Izumo gave me a very serious look. I felt bad that i was taking my anger out on him but at the moment I couldn't help it.
"Fang why wouldn't he care," Izumo questioned.
"Well he sure has a funny was of showing it, especially when my sister died and I hit an all time low," I murmured as my voice cracked, "besides if he cares so much he should be the one here."
"Fang," Izumo began
"Save it," I said walking away, "don't fight his battles for him."
As I continued walking I couldn't help but go over what I should do. I could go back to Gidget's and see what she says. I could also wait and see what the Fushimi guy has to say. Better yet I could go back to the house and call it a day.
"Yeah that's what I'll do," I muttered aloud to myself, "it's been a long and eventful day. I should just go home and rest. I'll probably feel much better if I do."
