Izumo's POV

I sat there at a booth in the coffee shop. I already had one cup of coffee since I've been here. I made sure to get here early to figure out what exactly to say to Fang.

As I sat there waiting I looked around. The coffee shop was fairly busy. I'm not surprise it is early. I only came here when Fang was in town. She loves this place. She says she likes the decor of the place. They had paintings on the wall. One was of a cup of coffee. Another was of a man and woman heading towards the shop. The second thing that Fang liked about the shop was the bookshelves they had here. She would sit here for hours just reading and drinking coffee. She even managed to get Mikoto to come in here one time.

~~~~~~flashback~~~~~
"Please Mikoto," she begged holding his hand in hers, "I really want you to come with us!"
"It's just a coffee shop," he sighed.
"No!" She exclaimed pulling on him, "its an awesome coffee shop!"
"What's so great about it?" He asked with the same bored expression plastered on his face.
Fangs excitement was no longer there. Her face fell into a frown and her bangs covered her eyes.
"Fine," she huffed, "I didn't want you to join us tomorrow anyways. Bye."
With that being said she stormed home leave Mikoto and I behind.
"Just come tomorrow," I told him, "it will make her happy."
He sighed running his hands through his hair.
"It's just a coffee shop," he began.
"It's a coffee shop that she's very fond of Mikoto," I replied, "she obviously wants you to come and enjoy it with her. Don't you want to make her happy?"
"Of course I do," he mumbled. He began blushing and was trying to avoid eye contact.
Mikoto didn't blush often. Only when the topic involved Fang. He may seem like he's not interested but deep down you can see how much he cares for this girl. She drives him crazy.
"You know," I began as I adjusted my glasses, "I don't know how you managed to get Fang to be your girlfriend. She's nice, can have an attitude here and there but she's the opposite of you."
"Says you," he snorted, "Fang is a lot like me. Fang liked me from the start! Even if I was a bit of an ass."
I looked down at my watch and then back up at Mikoto.
"It's getting late," I commented, "the sky's already turning orange. Just come tomorrow otherwise she's going to be really upset!"
"I'll think about it," he said walking in the opposite direction than me.
~~~~end of flashback~~~~

"IZUMOOOO," Fang exclaimed waving a hand in front of my glasses.

"Sorry I was zoned out," I chuckled, "I hope you haven't been here to long."

"It's alright," she smiled as she sat down in the booth, "I just got here."

It looked like Fang was in a good mood today. She had a smile on her face and she was wearing a bright blue sweater that really made her eyes standout. She's usually in dark colors. She always tried to say it was because of how vibrant her red hair was.

"So what's up?" I asked her while taking a sip of my coffee.
"Oh you know," she murmured.

I nodded my head knowing exactly what she meant.

"Anyways how are you?" She asked resting her hand against her cheek.
"I'm okay, just busy" I replied.
"Ah yes always taking car of the bar, finding new drinks, and dealing with Mikoto."

I couldn't help but chuckle. She got it.

"You know me so well," I chimed rubbing the back in my neck.
"Interested in anyone?" She questioned.

I raised my eyebrow up at her. Interested in anyone? I mean I guess. This is such a weird question out of the blue.

"Sort of," I answered folding my arms on the table. "Why do you ask?"
"I just haven't seen you with anyone before," she explained, "in fact I haven't even heard you talk about any girls in the time I've known you."
"Well I'm a busy guy," I added.
"This is true," she giggled.

It's weird but Fang almost seemed like her old self. She was more smiles and laughs than she's been in the past few days. It was nice to see her this way.

"What about you, any interest in a guy?" I questioned.
"Nope," she replied with annoyance laced in her voice.

"Really?" I asked.
"Yes," she answered quickly.

My eyes went from her face down to her hands. That's when I noticed that she still had her engagement ring from a few years ago, on her pale, delicate finger. The ring still shined like the first day she got it.

"Do you still love him?" I blurted out.

She stayed silent. She refused to look up at me. Her cheeks were bright red.

"I got to go Izumo," she whispered, "I'll stop by the bar sometime soon okay."

Before I could say anything she was gone. I sighed lighting a cigarette. I inhaled and slowly exhaled.

Oh Fang, I wish I could help. I wish I could tell you everything.
