"What the hell is taking you so long?"

Bea whispered while looking at her phone hoping to get a message from her dear friend. She's been waiting for an hour now and would like to leave the café anytime soon.

"Uhh...Hi, is this seat taken?"

"No." Bea forced a smile while shaking head.

"May I?"

"Yeah, sure. No prob."

As soon as the girl is seated she went back on fidgetting her phone. Not even minding the person across her who was intently looking at her.

"Miss, how did your day went?"

The taller girl looked up to make sure if she's the one the girl was talking to.

"It was fine naman. You?"

She managed to ask her also, thinking that this is just one small talk with a stranger.

"Well, I've been very busy throughout the whole week. Paperworks, unfinished scripts, shootings and tapes."

Bea nodded not wanting another topic or conversation with the girl.

Oh well, not all your wants are granted.

"So what do you think about EJK?"

Bea sighed. She hoped that the latter would feel that she's not fond of talking to strangers.

"EJK?" she asked back while pretending to type something on her phone.

"Extra Judicial Killings. Alam mo kasi, a lot of people are against it, well, we all should be. I think no one has the right to kill anyone despite their mistakes in life diba?"

Bea noticed how talkative the girl could be. No wonder she's in the writing and show business industry.

"Yeah, you're right." Bea answered still fidgetting on her phone.

"So why are you here?"

She placed her phone on the table and finally looked at the morena girl who had both eyes hopeful for her answer.

"Uhh--- for coffee I guess?"

The girl chuckled.

"Of course! Café to no! Sa bagay, you can order green tea or cakes din naman."

Gosh. Ang daldal nya. Bea thought.

"Ikaw? Why are you here naman?" Bea grabbed her phone again to check if there was a message. But there was no notification at all.

"To have coffee din before shooting starts. And somehow, to learn how to converse again." The smaller girl said with a sad smile on her face.

Bea's forehead creased with the last statement she said. She was about to ask again but the girl stopped her.

The girl held her right hand and squeezed it a little. Enough to make Bea feel her soft warm hands.

"Hey stranger, thank you for listening. Thank you din kasi, hindi mo ko binara or even let me stop talking about stuff kahit sobrang random. Thanks for spending your time, I owe you a lot. If by any chance we'll meet again, remember me to treat you anything. Would that be okay?"

Though she sounded demanding, sincerity was still evident on all her words. It made Bea agree on it and gave the girl a reassuring smile before she left.

As the stranger's figure disappeared, Bea took her phone and typed a message to her dear friend who ditched her.

"Hey Mads, I'm thanking you for ditching me but i still hate you. Wanna know why? Condo tomorrow morning. Good night."

As the message was sent she stood up and prepared to leave.

She had her eyes focused on the road but had her mind thinking of something. More like someone.

"I'm so bothered about you, woman." she uttered and gripped to the steering wheel tighter.
