Maddie's news got Bea so senti all throughout the day. She can't help but think of her family's situation there in States. It bothers her so much.
"Jia, can I leave now? I've finished signing everything naman."
"Bei, ikaw ang boss dito, not me so of course you can! Nga pala, Maddie told me what happened, umuwi ka na and call her."
"Thanks, Ju. You're the best."
"And the worst too." Jia said and made Bea laugh.
As she was heading to her car, she saw a familiar figure leaning on the door of the driver's side.
She's here.
She must have heard Bea's footsteps on the rocky platform that called her attention.
"Bea."
Bea continued walking to her car and pressed the key fob to unlock it.
"Bea, pansinin mo ko. Huy!"
Ang sabaw ko nga, bat di ko to pinapansin eh namimiss ko na to? Bea thought.
She jogged to the other side of the car and opened the shotgun seat for her.
"Sakay ka na," Bea asked.
Jho gladly did. When she was about to seat, she faced Bea for a sec and realized that she got trapped between the girl's long arms.
They were inches apart, close to being one. Their tired eyes are focused on each others face, secretly memorizing each and every detail.
They stayed like that for a couple of seconds until Jho decided to look away.
Bea smirked before closing the door and the latter saw it.
"Where do you wanna go?" Bea gladly asked.
"Anywhere you want."
Jho slept the entire ride, Bea woke her up once they were already at the place.
"Huy, asan tayo? Iuwi mo ko, may taping ako bukas ng umaga." Jho was frantically asking her.
"Relax, nandito ka na sa trabaho mo." Bea proudly said.
Jho's hazel brown eyes widened.
"How did you know? Nabanggit ko ba sayo?"
"Actually, you did thirty-seconds ago." Bea chuckled after throwing a joke.
"Gago! Seryoso kasi!"
"I kind of... looked at your phone, pero notif lang naman yung nakita ko and it was your director saying na may urgent shoot kayo ngayon."
Bea was shy to admit that she looked at Jho's phone. She got curious about a pixelized figure of a man on Jhoana's lockscreen.
Bea rubbed her nape while waiting for Jho's reaction, hoping she wouldn't get mad.
"Uh... Di na rin kita ginising because you were snoring really hard, halatang pagod ka."
