"Sasakay tayo dito?" Jho asked when she saw large jeepneys.
"Oo, pero hindi dun sa loob. Doon tayo uupo sa bubong ng jeep na yan,"
"Bea, are you serious? Delikado yan,"
"Pumunta ka pang Sagada, wag kang maarte, that's their only way of commuting since ma-bundok yung mga kailangan daanan," Bea explained.
"Teka, san ba tayo pupunta?"
"Sa langit,"

They both climed to the hood of the jeepney.
"Humawak ka ng maigi," Bea told Jho.
"Yes, boss."
The engine started and Jho was shocked causing her to jump a little.
"Shit!"
"Oh see? I told you to hold on tight."
Bea held her hands and clasped them together.
"Takot kasi ako sa heights, Bei. Kahit para sayo napakababaw lang ng jeep na 'to, nakakatakot parin para sa'kin."
She saw the fear in her eyes. The tone made it even worse. She decided to do her thing.
Bea cupped her face and looked straight into her eyes.
"You'll be fine, okay? Trust me... and manong driver. All you have to do is relax yourself and enjoy the ride. Would that be fine, Jhow-jhow?"
"I will try."
Bea clasped their hands again but tighter.
"You're safe with me." She said before eyeing on the view.
Jho still had height triggers but Bea can sense that beforehand. She keeps on holding her tight to keep the fears away and it successfully did. They arrived at the place safe and sound.
"Ang ganda dito," Jhoana stated.
She felt a sudden sting in her chest when she found out Bea wasn't beside her.
"Bea?"
The girl started to get worried. She tried to eye Bea's color of clothes but she found nothing.
She decided to calm herself by sitting on a huge rock, feeling the morning breeze of Sagada.
Jhoana closed her eyes for a moment.
Can't imagine going here without her. I will surely treasure these memories. Pero di ko parin maiwasang isipin, why does everything seemed so planned? This is too good to be true, Bea.

"Huy!" a light tap and a loud voice interrupted her.
"Why do you keep on calling me? Nakatulog ka ba dyan sa bato?" Bea's puzzled face came to her.
"Ha? Ano kasi... ang tagal mo,"
"Saglit lang kaya ako. Oo nga pala,"
Bea said and gave her a yellow balloon.
"Remember the note I gave you?"
"Yep,"
"Tie it in the middle part of the string, make sure it's tight enough ha," Bea instructed her and she willingly did.
"Hold on to your note, like this,"
Bea covered hers with both hands and placed it near her lips.
"Bulungan mo, anything for your wish."
They both did, once Bea was done, she waited for Jho to open her eyes.
"Ready?"
"Yeah!"
They let go of the balloon and looked at each other with satisfied smiles.
Bea stretched her arm indicating a hug. Jho gladly embraced and thank her once again.
"Culture ba yun dito? Ba't di ko alam?"
Jho asked.
"Nah, I got it from my father. He used to bring me to his hiking activities and different adventures, then one day tinuro nya sa'kin na, when it's your first time in a high place, you do that, pray and make a wish. Mas maririnig daw yun sa taas because mas malapit ka sakanila."
"That's technically correct," Jho said that earned a giggle from Bea.
"Pero grabe yung feels, plus the environment. Thank you ulit, Beatriz."
"No worries, Jho."

I decided to confront her. I deeply sighed and opened her door.
