Taeyong rushed on over to Johnny, who was in line for a cup of coffee from the concessions stand.
"Wow, did you already have a cup of coffee today?" Johnny blinked in surprise, stepping forward in line.
"Sorry, I just really needed to tell you what happened yesterday." Taeyong caught his breath, fixing his posture. The students behind them were confused, at the pair of friends. Taeyong ignored them and kept talking. "I'll wait until you get your coffee."
Johnny blew on his coffee before taking a sip of it. "Alright, now, start off on what happened."
The two took a seat on a bench nearby, next to a much needed heater. "So, we went to the Art Room like we agreed on, and she unintentionally let it slipped that she's been observing me."
Johnny was amused, but kept listening.
"Then, after I help her get started on her project, she drops her pencils, and so I look at how many she's dropped, but she suddenly comes up quicker than I thought she would and our faces are really close, like super close."
"Did you try kissing her?" Johnny questioned, leaning a bit closer to hear.
Taeyong sat back, in shock, and shoved his shoulder. Johnny held onto his coffee cup to avoid spilling. "Hey!"
"I'm sorry, I didn't think you'd ask that kind of thing." He scratched the back of his neck.
"So... did you?" Johnny tried again. This time, Taeyong rolled his eyes, and left him and his coffee alone.
"No, of course not. She was just staring at me, even when I was averting my eyes."
"Sounds like your average American movie."
"Well, I don't watch any. But thats the thing, she didn't move away when she saw my face was close."
"Sounds like she wanted to kiss you."
His ears burned up at the thought of that. Someone as beautiful as Jennie could ever want anything to do with someone like himself.
"You can't be too sure about that. You weren't there."
Johnny shook his head, "You're right about that." He brought his cup of coffee towards his lips.
"She's also going to my house today to study."
Johnny burned his tounge, while the drink dripped down his chin. "She's what?"
"I asked if she could come study at my house since my mom wants me to help cook today."
His phone vibrated.
"Look, you have to let me come over too. I have yet to meet Jennie."
Taeyong pondered that thought. Johnny could then see how Jennie acted with Taeyong.
"Fine." He took out his phone. "Don't make anything suspicious." Johnny put his hands in the air.
"Hey, Tae. I won't." He grinned.
Taeyong opened his phone and saw Jennie had texted him.
Jennie Kim
Hey, you never told me where you live yesterday.
Taeyong felt like an idiot. He forgot to tell her prior.
Oh, my bad.
He then proceeded to text his address before walking off down the hall with Johnny.
Taeyong drove home after school, followed by Johnny in his respective car. He drummed his fingers on the steering wheel, turning around the corner. He wondered what his mom would think, bringing a girl home. He was sure she would tease him endlessly throughout the night.
