One and a half year later
The place that held Jennie & Nayeon's graduation was packed with people. It was stuffy and super uncomfortable. A year had rolled around after Taeyong and Jennie finally made it official. Everyone was so excited that it had happened, and even his older sister had called him excitedly after they started dating.
Taeyong and Johnny graduated soon after, looking back at their Highschool journey.
Now, it was Jennie and Nayeon's turn, they couldn't believe their time has come. Time really did fly.
Johnny and Taeyong sat in a decent spot for them to watch the ceremony. Johnny was very antsy in his seat. "Jeez, now I understand why the girls were cranky after our graduation."
Taeyong agreed, fanning himself with one of the pamphlets. "I know, and we have to deal with this for an hour." The teachers and staff filed on the stage.
Johnny and Taeyong neared the end of the stage, before Nayeon and Jennie walked across the stage.
"Im Nayeon." Their principal called. Nayeon looked joyful and happy. She looked a bit sad as well. She walked and shook hands with everyone, and took her diploma. She smiled at the boys down the stage and hugged the two of them.
One of the parents agreed to take their pictures with Nayeon, before they let her go back to her seat.
"Kim Jennie."
Jennie then appeared on the stage, with tears clouding her eyes. She was so happy, she couldn't believe she was finally leaving highschool. She took her diploma and walked down.
She hugged Johnny tightly, before she embraced Taeyong. He kissed her head, before kissing her cheeks for a brief moment. "I'm so proud of you,"
Jennie wiped a tear from her eyes. "Thank you, sweetie."
The same parent took their pictures together.
After the whole ceremony, the four of them took turns taking pictures, wanting all of it in their memories forever. It was a beautiful night.
A party was held, by Jennie's mom. It was at a hall, with a spacious ballroom. Nearly the whole graduating class had came, along with Jennie's relatives and friends.
They all changed into different, more fancier attire, celebrating the end of her high school career.
Jisoo and Yujin made it to the hall, they were still working when the graduation was happening. They set their gifts on the table before they were greeted by their group of friends.
Johnny kissed Jisoo on the cheek as a greeting, and took her hand into his. After that one night they had first met it was the perfect connection.
"Congratulations!" Yujin hugged the two graduated girls. "I'm still so sorry I couldn't make it."
"It's okay, Yujin. I don't think you would've been comfortable anyway," Jennie brushed it off. "But look, I have someone to introduce you to," she turned back to the boy she had met a minute ago. "What was your name again?"
"Doyoung." He stuck out his hand.
"Yujin," she smiled politely.
"Would you like to dance?"
She nodded and took his arm as they lead out onto the dance floor.
The rest of them sat at a table, enjoying each other's company.
"Hey, Nayeon. Would you care to dance?" Jinyoung came up to her. Nayeon had the same problem Taeyong had. She was fighting Jinyoung off, even though they were friends. She fought of a smirk. Nayeon finally took his hand and stood up.
"We're going to dance as well, come dance!" Jisoo grabbed Johnny and lead them into the crowd.
Taeyong stood up and offered a hand to Jennie. When they walked onto the dance floor, it switched to a new slow song.
"I'm so happy for you." Taeyong gushed, "I never thought things would end out this way."
Taeyong gives Jennie a box. She opens it gently and sees a silver jewel. It was a promise ring.
"This is from my sister. She gave it to me to give it to someone I had in mind. If I had someone in mind." He places it on her finger. "I had you in mind."
Jennie was beginning to tear up again, laughing in the moment. She went to rest her forehead on his.
"I don't think i'll ever stop loving you, Jennie."
"I don't think I will either." She gives him a kiss. They then danced the night away, with the small thought of an even happier future playing in their minds.
