"Hello!" Allura greeted Lance as he showed up to her house. Her house was fairly big, considering she already graduated, had a job as an author, and lived alone.

"Hey." Lance bluntly said. He wasn't at his best, he didn't look nice, sound nice, he was a mess.

"Lance? What's wrong? You look like your girlfriend is being distant and you can't handle yourself." Allura laughed at herself.

Lance gave her the look.

"You have a girlfriend? Come in." Allura motioned for the clean and organized living room. They took a seat and began to talk. "So who is this girlfriend of yours?"

"They're not a girlfriend?"

"Best friend?" Lance shook his head no.

"Enemy?" Lance shook his head again.

"Boyfriend?" Lance leaned back in his chair and covered his face, he nodded.

"AAH! Really? Who is it?"

"You'll hate me."

"No I won't."

"Yes you will."

"Lance, I won't get mad, it's your choice, dear." Allura's soft pink dress reflected her personality in some sense. Soft, sweet, you could be faced with it for hours and you wouldn't get annoyed.

"It's Keith."

Allura took a second to comprehend this, leaving Lance scared and anxious of what to come.

"I'm proud of you."

4 words changed Lance's mood quicker than you could say 'quiznak'.

"But anyway, why are you coming to me?"

"Almost exactly what you said as I walked in."

"You look like your girlfriend is being distant."

"Oh, Lance. Tell me. How is he being distant."

"He just won't talk to me. We'll exchange the 'hey's' and the smiles, but we've barely had a proper conversation in 5 days or something."

"Lance are you keeping count?"

"Maybe."

"You know, don't wait for him to start the conversation. If you talk to him first, I'd bet you'll be less distant."

Lance nodded.
