The whole gang groaned and complained about the summer heat as we headed to the caves. I was close to yelling at them to suck it up because it hadn't been my brilliant plan to pulverize the cabin while I had gone grocery shopping. I still was trying to make sense on how the seekers had found us, we had been living in that cabin in peace for months no seekers in sight. I was kind of happy that we had seen some sort of appearance of those robotic freaks. It was too peaceful for too long to be considered normal, I had almost thought I was going crazy. I was also secretly hoping I hadn't been the only one who noticed and grew paranoid by each passing day.

By now I knew these woods as good Jason had, and so did everyone else. I followed the markers I had left behind to remind me which way to get to the caves successfully.

"Are we there yet, Chris?" Bonnie began to complain and started to grow a little annoyed.

I mentally counted to ten to calm myself down, knowing it wouldn't do any good to get angry now. I couldn't let my emotions get to me, and I noticed Sam a little separated from the group walking as silently and observant as ever. He didn't notice me looking at him and he didn't seem too phased about much he just studied the mush green surroundings that wrapped themselves all around us. It was still a little long ways of a distance to the caves so I stopped and looked around, we where in something like a meadow clearing inside the woods.

"This seems like a good place to stop and take five." I say to the gang who instantly collapsed to the ground like the lazy bums they where.

We hadn't even walked that far and they where acting like we had walked ten miles and being exaggerate about it. They soon began to devour the few snacks that had survived the cabin pulverization and I just looked around the outline border of the meadow.

Jason didn't eat anything and Sam didn't either. It was only Nick, Raven, and Bonnie who where stuffing their faces like the piglets they where acting as. They showed no hesitation or attempt to offer even a single scrap of food, watching them eat seemed to just have taken the affect of ruining my appetite. I could see the same expression on both Sam and Jason's faces, and I grinned feeling a laugh rise up in me that I tried to keep in. I didn't want to appear as the only idiot laughing at the looks on their faces and how the gang was eating like ill cultured swine.

The moment was perfect and it almost felt like a true normal family as I watched everyone. Then it hit me, we where missing someone. Bella, I hadn't noticed she was gone no one had she was always so gentle and quite our little peace keeper who hated violence. I could've sworn she was walking right behind us a moment ago. I scanned around hoping that maybe she had accidentally wondered off but there was no sign of her anywhere.

"Where is Bella?" I blurted out the feeling of moments ago instantly vanished and replaced by a feeling of uncertainty and panic but I couldn't let myself loose it. I had to keep it cool for the rest of the Gang if I lost it who knows what would happen. I started getting flash backs about Lily as I repeated.

"Guys, Where the hell is Bella!!" This time I shouted and it seemed to click in there minds and they looked around searching for Bella who they noticed was nowhere in sight.

Images of Lily's death began to haunt me as I looked around, I pushed the thoughts out of my mind that couldn't of happened to Bella. Not her too she was fine she wondered off like she normally does she's okay, she's alive. I repeated stupid excuses like that as turned and started heading the direction we'd come from to see if she accidentally got lost. It was normal for her to get turned around. I had gotten everyone's attention about her and now we where all looking for her we would find her I mentally slapped myself for not noticing why hadn't I paid more attention?

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jason jump into the canopy of the trees and jumping from tree to tree sort of like a skilled ninja or a monkey looking down from a birds eye view. We all had hawk like vision and could see things from incredibly far distances, but Bella was nowhere to be found. Something on the ground caught my eye and a feeling of dread hit the pit of my stomach. There was a manilla folder on the ground a few miles behind us that I recognized all to well that her name scribbled on the tab in cursive. I felt like I was going to be sick, the confirmed Bella was very much alive but not anywhere near us.

My voice caught in my throat as I slowly walked over the file my gang scattered around looking for her the same as I was. I slowly picked it up and opened it, I saw a names of relatives information on her blood type everything lists of experiments she undergone that I knew about and understood completely. This was no ordinary file this was her file that was in a cabinet under lock and key back at the facility that I had only seen one other time in my life for a brief moment. At the bottom of the page in the file it was written in fresh black pen ink, "experiment recaptured.."

I winced and fell to my knees, when I read those words. I dropped the folder on the ground where I had found it my temples pulsing. The reality of the situation, Bella was alive. Bella was alive, but back in the place where had come from and left 3 years ago. There was a dirt footprint that matched the bottom of Bella's shoe on the back of the folder. What had taken place appeared clearly in my mind by the faint vibrations left behind in the earth.

It was confirmed Bella had been here she was grabbed from behind walking slowly and quietly a little ways behind the group. Her shriek had been stifled and she kicked out and fought back stubbornly trying to get free. There was a tall skinny looking man and two wolffish bulky looking creatures where with him. The same man who had been writing down that they had recaptured her, received the kick which screwed up what he had been writing down. The file basically now kicked out of his hands had fallen to the ground and had been forgotten about. The man took action not pleased with her stubborn nature began to restrain her and knock her out looking very annoyed and yelled something I couldn't hear at the creatures. The file was not remembered or noticed again. She didn't go down without a fight, even after being drugged. She fought against the drug but couldn't hold out for long before it finally took it's toll. Soon after that the man and the two freakishly large creatures walked east from that point with a passed out Bella over their shoulder, this had happened some twenty minutes ago.

A tear streamed down, if I had noticed she would still be with us. This proved I was an unfit leader and cried out with a shriek that caught everyone's attention who soon where all around me staring down at the same folder I had just dropped.
