Sam looked down at the folder on the ground and cussed under his breath. Apparently he recognized the folder as well I had, and turned away. I stared down at it like it was Bella's hand written death sentence. My brain still wouldn't process the fact that she'd been taken, I refused to believe that had honestly happened. The other group members stared in silence, then Jason moved and picked up the folder opening it and looking at the contents inside flipping through paper after paper and then closing the file.

"What are we going to do now?" Bonnie asked looking directly at me. Everyone was expecting some sort of miracle out of me to do the impossible or some sort of magic trick and make her appear.

Why did they have to take her, why couldn't they have taken me instead? It hit me and I looked at Jason.

"You have power over time." I said staring right him and he stepped backward as if he knew what I had thought.

"Chris it doesn't work that way." He said backing up further and running directly into Sam.

Now everyone's eyes where on Jason. He kept looking from one person to another and back again and he jumped into a tree and started running in the opposite direction from us. I ran after him and the others followed I wasn't going to let him get away he was going to explain himself and what he meant by that previous statement. If he controlled time we could reverse it and we could prevent Bella from ever having been taken.

I was always a few feet away from Jason I didn't know he was such fast runner it was hard to keep up with him even if all of us where naturally fast. My gang scattered out using a herding and hunting technique to surround him which would make it easier for all of us to catch him. The rough features of the earth helped propel me into a faster speed and he didn't appear to be stopping anytime soon, we where back pedaling and getting further and further from the caves. Something white flashed past my line of sight and I skid to a halt almost crashing into a tree. I'm scanned the surrounding trying to figure out what the hell it had been that shot right in front of me as I was chasing Jason down who I had now lost trail of. The adrenaline that had been pumping in my veins ceased and that's when I winced and felt something wet dripping down my arm. I looked down to find blood and a huge slice mark like some sort of claw had taken a swipe at me, I didn't get to examine it throughly when I heard a loud yelp and by instinct ran in that direction.

I found Bonnie on the floor her arms covered in mud she had a huge bite mark on her leg. It looked like a wolf had sunk it's teeth deeply into her flesh and I caught sight of the flash again this time though it looked more silver than white. I blinked and it was gone it moved faster than I could track which was impossible because our tracking abilities where the best of the best no one could sneak up on us and this thing was playing with us the way it darted around. A low growl formed deep in my throat and I kneeled down to help Bonnie up who cried out the minute I even tried to move her leg.

"DONT TOUCH IT!" She screamed in an octave that shouldn't be humanly possible and I winced slightly and backed up.

Whatever that silver thing was it wasn't friendly, I snarled and knew if anyone Sam would catch whatever the hell it was. I had forgotten completely about Jason, now I wanted to kill this silver thing that seemed to be toying with us. Other group members appeared into the clearing where Bonnie was having heard her scream and looked at her leg. Nicks shirt was torn and there where claw swipes on it but he wasn't injured he did look pissed. Raven was covered in knees high mud and she didn't look so happy herself.

There was a loud crash and sounds of trees snapping from the distance I notice a dust cloud heading a little ways toward the area we where all standing in. I grabbed Bonnie quickly and jumped out of the way as wood and derby of bark, dust and dirt flew all over the place. The dust cleared and I saw Sam who looked annoyed his eyes darker than usual flash right past me picking up more dirt just as the silver thing flashed coming from the other direction and collided right with him which erupted a sound that made thunder sound like a whisper.

I ducked and so did everyone else and when the eruption of dirt and dust cleared Sam was on the ground unconscious and there was a girl standing right a over him looking directly at us. She was slender with long white hair that glowed silver her eyes as pure and gold like the sun. She was bare foot in a white summer dress, she looked human except for the wolf ears and tail she had and snarled at us.

I stood up shocked staring at her and then at Sam who was still unconscious on the ground and out of nowhere Jason jumped down from the canopy above and said.

"Silver?!?"
