AMANDA’S P.O.V
“So baby, don’t settle for less… You deserve the best… You better than the rest… And I can be the best… So baby, don’t settle for less…” I sang the lyrics repeatedly. That one song I got in my mind since the first rehearsal today.
“Hey Amanda, that counts a million times and please stop it already.” Emily sighed at me. Who could blame her but who could blame me also?
“Sorry…”
“Em, you should understand ‘that’…” Chloe winked at Emily and they both laughed. “Yeah girls, just let her.” Samantha now joined the two girls. So I was all alone on this.
“What you guys talking about?”
“Of course Connor it is!” They said in unison. Okay that’s creepy.
“What happened to him?” I said maybe too concerned.
“Ah, you care about him already.” Samantha hugged me from behind. “Go find out your feeling for him because he’s falling for you, for sure.” And by that, she kissed my cheek and ran off to the bathroom.
“Oh what was that for…” I shook my head. That couldn’t be right. Or even if that was right, it would be a…no, no way.
I was too lazy to shower, so ended up being the last on the line. I threw myself to the bed, enjoying myself in deep thought about everything until my phone vibrated.

Hey, landed safely already?
My heart was beating a bit too fast right now. Should I reply this soon or what.

Yeah, all is well. How’s yours? Landed in one piece?
I was concernedly waiting for the reply but it seemed too long. Since Chloe already screamed here and there telling me it’s my turn to shower, so I left my phone under the pillow to make sure nobody would steal that.
After an hour showering and had dinner, I threw my body to the bed for the last time tonight. I seriously never wanted to wake up again until morning. I was about to passing out, until my hand found something under the pillow. Oh, the phone. OH, CONNOR’S TEXT.

Lol thank God we are, remembering Toby was being the driver. Oh hey anyway if you want to sleep that’s okay. I just want to make sure you okay and that’s all.

Oh yeah, think so. But no, to be honest, I don’t really make good friends to everybody caused of the tight schedule we got. That sucks.

Told me where I should go when it came to even faster heartbeats I got here. Connor made me thinking for another perfect love story like once I had back years ago. And this feeling I’ve been looked for. And again, it still felt good.
