Darknova winced in fear as another flash of lighting and roar of thunder amplified the fear the macaw on top of him generated. I would have made a very dirty suggestion there but let's be serious here, that macaw is terrifying, especially with that scar. Oh, I forgot she actually has a scar on the left hemisphere of her face, cool and terrifying right? But let's have our dear male protagonist a word to it no?
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"
... Welp, looks like DK is a girl after all.
Wincing from the high pitched girl like shriek from the tiny blue macaw, both felines and blue macaw blocked their ears. Seeing their sign of weakness, Saphira used this chance to bit down on the male stray cat's paw.
"Yeeeouchhhhh!!!" Gaster yelled out in pain, letting go of the scarlet macaw in the process.
Using this chance to free Darknova, Saphira tackled the much larger blue macaw with her bloodcurdling battle cry, using both her loud noise and Darknova's screaming to disorient Marcy. With a loud smack, Saphira sent the scared face macaw flying to the hollow's wall, knocking the wind out of her.
Unfortunately, the attack left her open for Scratch to try and get a clawed swipe at her. Luckily for Saphira, a dark blue blur rammed said feline's head, disorienting Scratch for a few minutes. Unfortunate for said blue blur now identified as the now free Darknova, he too was disoriented. Let's say ramming your head full speed at another head is a double edged sword for someone who doesn't have a thick skull.
"Thanks a lot Darknova but we are still in danger so you better recollect yourself or you'll be cat food!" Saphira scolded and encourage the blue macaw who is still seeing stars.
She didn't got her reply though as she turned to see her screeching enemy charging right at her. Reacting on instinct, Saphira skillfully dodge the charge with a sidestep to the right. Seeing that she missed, Marcy skidded to a stop, using her wings to slow down her speed and changed direction in speeds only a flexible and built macaw can only possess. Unluckily for our heroes, she has both.
"I see someone is almost as skilled as me in jungle combat, but your gonna do better then that to deter me!" Marcy charged again this time her wings stretch out to lessen the chance for Saphira to dodge.
"Well, I guess I'll fight you head on!"Seeing no alternative, Saphira braced for imminent impact. Only to be saved yet again by Darknova, tackling her adversary to the ground.
"And stay down you-woah!!" Right as Darknova was about to taunt the fallen blue macaw, he was sent flying a few centimeters away by Marcy, who got up.
"Why you annoying piece of *beep*, maybe I should finish you--hey what the *beep*--OUCH!!" Before March could even finish her sentence, Saphira has used her opening to get close and bit down on the older macaw's chest, ripping off feathers in the process.
She didn't stop there though, Saphira have the bigger macaw lock in a bear hug and despite her much smaller frame, was actually able to maintain it. That's were her fun begins, spitting out the feathers she bit off from Marcy's now bare chest. She then began to bite down on the blue macaw's left wing, taking off multiple feathers out at once.
Marcy struggled, she really did, but the determine little scarlet wouldn't let go as said macaw continued to bring more pain to her body. She figured she could crush the little macaw by her weight, but that option was not available as Darknova entered the fray and begin to claw and bite her back.
Now she has two birds bringing the pain to her now. Her anger rose to a few levels as she looks like a struggling hadrosaur being attacked by two vicious raptors.
