Chapter 5

AN: Hello guys, LilBluCDRG here and I'm back with another chapter of Welcome to the Family, sorry for letting you guys wait for so long, school isn't letting up on it's surprises. Now, let's go on with the story and let's see how our two in-denial love birds handle themselves when things turned interesting for the two of them... and to us.

Ah, another wonderful day at the Amazon, not a cloud in the sky, the sun is shining brightly, there's no possible way that a storm is brewing up in the horizon. That is if you count out what the heck is happening between two certain macaws stuck in a mud pool.

"What did you do Dorknova!", Saphira squawked out, agitated at the chick in question.

"What did I do? What did I do? Your the one who got us into this mess, no thanks to your impatience speed freak!", Darknova screeched back, annoyed by the Scarlet's whining.

"Well if weren't for your klutziness I would have avoided you would I?", Saphira spatted out.

"Oh shut up will ya and help me out of this mud!", Darknova replied as he tugged to get out of the mud.

Now this little accident our two love birds-

"We are not lovebirds!"

Sorry, I mean "young birds". Now as I was saying, this two happened to have bump into each other during their usual breakfast runs and I'm telling you, their collision was all but just a light bump.

Both chicks blame one other to who really was the cause of the accident, but it was clear to the witnesses that both birds are to blame. Sarah, who was with her son just chuckle at Darknova and Saphira's argument, finding it cute to see the two chicks duke it out with words.

In no time, both chicks were able to escape their muddy demise and blushingly tried to act that nothing happened as Sarah bombarded them with cute comments.

Hopping to escape his mother's "loving" words, both him and Saphira immediately took off on their separate ways with their breakfast in tow.

"Where do you think your going mister?", Sarah called out to her son.

"Home, where else mom!", Darknova grumbled out loud.

"Don't use that tone on me young man, besides your all muddy, your not stepping a foot in the hallow if you haven't clean yourself up," Sarah grinned as she folded her wings across her chest.

"Ugh... fine mom," Darknova flew off unknowingly leaving his Brazil nut behind.

Not far from the Brazil nut trees is a crystal clear pond that he usually go to take a bath. Oh how he loves it when the cool and refreshing waters wraps around his being as he relaxed for hours before leaving.

"Oh well, at least I'll be away from mom's teasing for at least an hour," Darknova thought out loud as he hovered right above the pond.

As Darknova prepared to dive into the pond, he didn't quite noticed a red and blue figure just breaking the ponds surface for air. Before both birds figure out what happened, Darknova splashed down, hard.
