He was watching her. He was always took the late shift, and for that reason. She just had grace to her voice. She was the Country station, so opposite of him. He was the Underground Indie station. But the way she sang as she gathered her stuff made him want to just hold her close and have her sing his name. She was running a little behind but he waited. the red LIVE sign flicked off and he entered her booth. With only the glass between them, he could see her lean back in her swirly rolly chair. She closed her eyes as the first note left her lips. It was a familiar song. It was a fast country dancing song he's heard a million times. He flipped the intercom on and she jumps.

"Take any requests?" He says and she smiles.

"Depends, darlin'." She says opening the door to her booth.

"How about Songbird, by Fleetwood Mac." He says sitting in her chair.

She grabs her guitar from the corner and streams lightly.

"For you, there'll be no more crying.

She smiles at him.

She walks closer to him and slowly leans in.

He slowly leans the rest of the way and kisses her softly.

"I've been waiting all day to do that." He says against her mouth. She just smiles and kisses him again.

"Let's get outta here, Songbird." He says standing up and grabbing her bag and her hand
