I could tell today was going to be one of those quintant's!

I woke to a serious sinus headache at 1 A.M this morning. I finally fell back asleep a little after 2 A.M only to be awakened around 3:15 A.M by my dear husband who had a morning hard and decided he wanted some. So despite a throbbing headache, I let him screw me (no it didn't help my headache). It seemed it took him forever to get his nut.

Once he was done and gone, I showered and slipped back into bed. I laid there staring at the nothing unable to go to sleep. I tossed and turned, getting really frustrated and ticked off. The longer I lay there the more frustrated I got.

I got out of bed, slipped on my robe and walked to the kitchen and fixed me a bowl of cereal. I decided to go out and eat by the pool. The sun wasn't quite up yet and it was peaceful.

After finishing my bowl of cereal I went back in the house and clicked on the television. I guess I must have dosed off on the couch, because the next thing I knew it was after 8 and my cell was ringing. It was Acxa, one of Lotor's generals.

"Hey, did I wake you?" She asked

"No, I've been awake. How are you?" I replied.

"I'm great! Look the reason I called is because I am working on a new project for Prince Lotor and I wanted to see if you wanted to help? I know you enjoy it." I could practically see her smile.

"Axca, I appreciate the offer, but I'm gonna have to decline. My husband kind of likes me being home now." I replied. I felt a pang of guilt,  knowing she enjoyed my presence,  vice versa.

"Oh, that's too bad. I was really hoping you'd come in again. But I understand, family first." She said.

"Yeah, thanks though." I replied.

"Well, let's get together for lunch one day! It would be good to see you again. The other generals miss you also." She said.

"That would be great." I replied.

It was after 9 am when Leon finally emerged from his room. He was in a prissy mood and coped an attitude when I told him to pick his room up and make his bed. So I got an attitude back and grounded him from the pool, his friends and going to Lotor's ship.

My daughter Elise called shortly afterwards, saying her ship had stalled on her and asked if I could come get her and take her back to work. I told her I would be there shortly. I called Lotor and told him about Elise's ship.

He then gave an attitude, asking why can't she call one of his Galra soldiers. This pissed me off and I told him in a few choice words what he could do with his attitude. I then hung up on him.

I got Elise back to work, then called a one of a Galra soldier for her. I waited for it to arrive and then I headed home. I was still fuming over Lotor.

I stopped by Ezor's and visited for a while. She knew I was upset and offered to fix me a drink. "I know it is a little early, but you seem like you can use one," she said.

I graciously declined, although a good drink did sound appealing. Come to think of it getting good and drunk sounded good to me at the time. But I wasn't going to let Satan drag me down that far. Instead I just cried on Ezor's shoulder for a bit.

I made it home a little before 1 pm. I dilly-dallied around the house, keeping busy to keep my mind off my family issues.

It was almost six in the evening when Lotor got home. Neither of us spoke and I could tell he was mad. Almost an hour went by when I heard him say, "Leon, son, why don't you go outside for a while? Your mom and I have to have a talk."

"Yes sir." Leon walked out the door.

"I grounded him! He..." I exclaimed before he interrupted me.

"BEDROOM NOW!" he exclaimed.

He followed me into the bedroom and shut the door. We then proceeded to get into a rather loud and heated argument for about 20 doboshes or so. I was soon crying as I sat on the end of the bed.

He stood looking at me, then took my hand and pulled me to my feet. He wiped the tears from my face with his fingers. He tilted my head up and kissed me softly on the lips.

"I love you, (Y/N)." He said softly.

"I love you too." I sniffled.

"I'm sorry about snapping at you earlier. A lot of stuff has been happening with Voltron and all, so things have been stressful. I shouldn't take it out on you," He said kissing my forehead.

"I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have said what I said and hung up on you," I replied.

I'm prolly functioning on my dark side again. You'll know why in the second part 😏
