I Hate You [Phan]

i. at the start

It was real.

At the start.

When they first met.

It started with a person by the name of danisnotonfire commenting and tweeting at a youtuber called AmazingPhil.

That was the beginning of what was real.

They met face to face at the train station in Manchester on October 19th of 2009. Both of the two felt so in love. They both had the nervousness of conversation with each other, despite the immense amount they had spoken through their computer screens. They both had racing thoughts of each other when they were talking to other people, or while the other was just busy. They both had the pressure on their chest as they worried about whether there would ever be something between themselves and the other.

That was real.

It became a lie after Phil had convinced Dan to make his own videos, after they started to get hundreds and hundreds of new subscribers, after the two of them changed over the years, but not after their kiss on the Manchester Eye, or the hours of Skype calls that brought them closer.

It all was a facade put on for the camera, the fans, the interviewers, their friends. Everyone. No one knew the real truth behind Dan and Phil.
