Third Person
Dream sat there. Nothing. He. Felt. Nothing. Why wasn't he happy? He was worrying about Ink. Had he.. done it yet? He didn't want to believe it, and he held his head as he sat on the ground, shacking. He was losing his mind. It felt like forever that he's been in this black hell of a void. He hasn't cried yet, trying to stay strong, but he was breaking. Slowly. He needed to stay strong. For Ink. He loved him, he loved Blueberry, he loved all his friends. Most of all, he loved Blueberry. More than a friend, that is. He didn't think he'd ever confess his feelings to him, and he probably never would(he also had the smallest of crushes on Ink). Not thinking that Blueberry would accept him and unfriend him he kept his feelings a secret. Blueberry didn't necessarily share the same feelings, but he's had.. suggestive thoughts about loving him. Not dirty thoughts, he's innocent still, but he has been watching suggestive TV. He understood it, just didn't fully care about it. Suddenly, a skeleton teleported a few feet away from Dream. He was so lost in thought he didn't realise the mental and emotional beating he was about to receive. Aggressive light footsteps ran to him, and he was then tackled. Snapping back to reality he widened his eye sockets, looking down. He only saw a shaky blue form.
"Dream! Oh Dreamy, I thought I'd never see you again..!!" A loud voice shook, crying interrupting his words. Blueberry. Blueberry, his crush that he was (coincidentally) thinking about, managed to find him. How?
"B.. Blue..?" Dream's voice quivered, tears forming in his eye sockets. He shakily sat up, lifting the smaller skeletons head up to look into his eye-lights. It was Blueberry.. but he was crying with a blue face. Dream giggled, frowning and then balling his eyes out. "I thought I was a goner..!!" He hugged Blueberry weakly, and Blueberry hugged back with strength, never wanting to let go, afraid he'd lose his best friend again. Dream started to sway back and forth, sobbing harder into Blueberry's shoulder. "B-Blue..!" He tried to calm down, not succeeding in completing his goal. Blueberry leaned away from him, tears still falling from his face.
Blueberry lightly gasped, trying to talk through his crying state. "I-I'm so sorry I d-didn't f-find you.. s-s-sooner..!" and he broke down crying again, clinging onto Dream. He hugged back gently, face turning slightly yellow. No, now is not the time for that. He pushed down the flustered thoughts, digging his face deep into the crook of Blueberry's neck.
"Y-You can't stay here! T-They'll come and take you.. k-kill you," Dream wailed. Blueberry frowned, shushing him and calming him down.
"Dreamy, Dreamy~! It'll all be fine, I'm here and I can protect myself, I promise." He smiled a lopsided smile to his friend, hugging him again. Realizing their position, Blueberry's face turned blue. He was basically straddling Dream. Dream held him by the hips, looking into his eyes. Blueberry starred back, slightly leaning closer to Dream's face for a kiss. Dream leaned forward quickly, pulling Blueberry into a deep kiss. They hugged, kissing as they did. When they pulled away they smiled at each other, and Blueberry wiped away the still-flowing tears from Dreams eye sockets. "Now, I'll help you out of these chains you're in..." He smiled at his new-found lover. Dream smiled back.
"I.. I l-love... you.." Dream whispered shyly, blushing as he looked away from Blueberry. He giggled, standing up and kissing the top of Dream's head.
"I love you, too, Dreamy," Blueberry giggled as he went behind Dream. Blueberry used his magic and got the chains off, moving downwards to remove the chains. When he was fully behind Dream there was a fwoosking sound, and Blueberry accidentally fell onto Dreams back with a gasp.
"B-Blue! You okay?" Dream nervously giggled, turning around with a smile. Blueberry coughed up blood, eye sockets wide. Dream's face darkened as he saw Blueberry. He just confessed his love. And then.. he dies..? No.. Hell no! His eye sockets were wider than they've ever been as he started to lightly shake Blue. A bone was pierced through his rib cage as he layed there, looking upwards. "B-Blue?!? A-Answer me!" He panicked, hearing a chuckle from behind him. He didn't bother turning around, and instead he started to try and heal his lover. He wouldn't lose him... He'd rather die than let him die! A green aura floated around his hands as he layed them on Blueberry's chest, crying. He couldn't stay strong if the love of his life died before him. Never. Blueberry suddenly glitched out, glitching to dust quickly. Dream screamed out, trying to keep Blueberry awake. Blueberry's eye sockets shot open, and he only had one eye-light. His body formed back, and a voice echoed, 'But it refused.' His soul drefused to die! Dream grinned, hugging Blueberry tightly. Blueberry pushed him away, standing up and bringing Dream up with him.
"Now. Dream, we fight for our lives." Blueberry growled, glaring at the skeleton who tried to kill him. It was actually Cross and Marvul who stood there. Marvul grinned, looking at Dream with an evil look. Cross stood there emotionlessly.
Dream stopped his tears, wiping them away. "B-Blue, we can't defeat them alone! I already tried, Cross defeated me quickly!"
"I promised you I would be able to protect you and I always keep my promises." Blueberry glared at Cross, who just looked at him. Dream took a fighting stance beside Blueberry shakily and shook off his shakyness and nervousness, forgetting how weak he was from not eating. Blueberry was about to say something when bones plunged through his entire body, not even giving him a chance to fight. Dream didn't look or turn. He just stood there, feeling his entire body going numb. His eyes shakily looked to where Blueberry stood, and sure his body stood there, but he was distorted. Bones were all through his face, torso, legs, arms. Everything. He screamed, falling back as his eye sockets widened in fear and pain.
"B... B-B-B... Bl....!" He stuttered, not even being able to cry. Marvul laughed, getting rid of the bones. Blueberry's body fell to Dream, to which Dream screeched in fear and scurried backwards. Blood splattered on him, mostly his skull and legs. Blueberry quickly started to dust, and Dream shakily crawled to him. Picking him up he tried to cuddle him, seeing Blueberry try to talk. He mouthed words, making Dreams' tears start to overflow. Blueberry's soul popped up, cracking. Dream summoned his, comparing them. By now Blueberry was dust up to the bottom of his ribs. With all the concentration Dream could muster he started to transfer his soul magic to Blueberry's soul, trying to keep him alive. When he opened his eye sockets he smiled, seeing that it was working. Blueberry's body was reforming quickly. What he didn't notice though, was that he was becoming dust. Cross growled, bringing his hand up and bring Dream to him with his magic. "BLUEBERRY!!!!!" Dream screeched in a painful voice. It actually terrified Marvul. It made him feel guilty. The look on Dream's face when he was pulled from his lover was heart wrenching, making Marvul turn away and frown. "NO!! PLEASE, LET ME JUST HEAL HIM!! I-I'LL DO ANYTHING!! J-JUST PLEASE!!!" His words were half screaming and half crying. Cross just rolled his eyes, keeping Dream away from the dying skeleton. Blueberry reached to Dream, mouthing more words. Dream sobbed harder after that, cupping his face in his hands and hiding in his knees. Blueberry was dust, and only his bandanna was left, along with something hidden in his dust.
Cross threw Dream infront of him roughly, growling as he used his magic to force a chain around his ankles and drag him back to where he originally was. Dream was being drug into Blueberry's dust. He screamed and crawled away from the dust, thrashing around and trying to get the chains off from around his anckles. "B-Blue..!" He wailed out, curling up in a ball and sobbing the life out of him. He had Blueberry's bandanna wrapped around his gloved hands as he cried, clenching his eye sockets closed tighter. Cross turned his back on them, and Marvul did the same. "B-Baby Blue," Dream whimpered, crying himself to sleep.
