Third Person

At the moment, Ink was being held captive by Nightmare, who had him pinned against his chest about to stab his skull. Dream was frozen beside ERROR with the kitten weaving in and out of his legs. ERROR was trying to keep calm and not saying anything he'd regret or that would trigger Nightmare to kill Ink. The kitten meowed in the silence, making Nightmare glared harshly at him and grown deeply. Quickly Dream picked his up protectively, glaring back at his sibling. "So.  The Marvul was right, huh?"  Nightmare frowned deeply, looking at ERROR pitifully. ERROR kept his back straight, the strings hanging from the ceiling growing longer. "You traitor," He hissed, his grip on Ink's neck tightening, making him gag and gasp for air despratly.

"L-Leave Inky alone!" Dream stammered, stepping forward and snRrling at Nightmare, trying to be braver than he was. After losing one friend right infront of you you can become more protective of your last living friends, you could guess. Dream would not let Nightmare kill Ink. He'd rather die than let that happen. Nightmares laughed, looking crazier than he was.  "Why are you laughing?!" Dream huffed, holding the kitten close.

"Why shouldn't I laugh?  I mean - your basically challenging me!  I'm the strongest monster in the whole galaxy, every galaxy at that!" He laughed loudly, making Ink flinch and whimper. "Plus, your so weak you have never even been able to be even close to landing a hit on me," Nightmare shrugged, smiling widely and then glaring at the two.

"Please just let him go!  I'll go back to that hell, just don't hurt Inky," Dream cried, worry consuming him as he tried to contain his now forming tears. He knew that Nightmare didn't really care if Ink died or not, just that ERROR was with him and would help. Nightmare scoffed, shaking his head and throwing Ink to the ground roughly. Ink coughed, holding his throat and gasping for air like it was candy. "Inky!" Dream yelped, sliding over to Ink and holding him close to his chest gently. Nightmare payed no attention to them, and neither did ERROR. They both were locked in a staring contest, seemingly having a telepathic conversation.

ERROR blinked and Nightmare smirked with a chuckle, "You lost." He then lunged at ERROR, but he used his string to grab his feet and throw him back. Nightmare used a black tentacle to stop his body from hitting the wall and held himself there, smiling. "Since this is between ERROR and I at the moment, you two weaklings must leave." Nightmare and ERROR continued to have their little staring contest as Nightmare made a portal form under Dream and Ink, making them fall and scream. Closing up the portal Nightmare frowned at ERROR, hopping into the floor and looking at him sadly. "Why'd you do this..?"

ERROR inwardly flinched. He didn't fully understand why either. "I.._d-don'-t_kn-ow." He lied. Nightmare teleported in front of ERROR and slapped him. Hard. He had fallen to the floor,  a shocked face plastered to his skull as he looked at Nightmare with wide eye sockets. He'd never his him that.. meaningfully before. ERROR stayed silent but stood up, glaring daggers at his so called friend. "F-For_Ink."

"I fucking knew it," Nightmare growled, starting to pace around and hold his skull in distress. "You have.. fallen for him?!  I'm fucking right, aren't I?!" His voice was almost a shout but nod loud enough to be one, and all ERROR did was flare a little harder. Nightmare groaned, sitting down on the couch and shaking his head. "I'd it weren't him, I wouldn't give a shit.  But.. ugh!  He's still strong, he could probably make and army to fucking take illusion the hell down."
