What would you do if...?

We're going to have a baby.

Your breath was starting to hitch and your palms became sweaty. It felt like there was too much pressure.

You paced around the room to hopefully relieve some nervousness, your long white dress swirling around you; the sparkles catching the light perfectly making a breath taking effect. You make up was finished to exact precision, but your lines of worry was showing through it. The heels you were wearing caused you to almost topple over more than a few times.

Then the best-man Yuki - much to Kyo's chagrin. It took a lot of convincing for this to happen - came into the room and directed the orange-top to you. He gave a look to Kyo that looked like, 'if you ever mess this up or make her sad, I will kill you.'  Kyo just returned it with a glare and Yuki rolled his eyes. Before that could get any further, Yuki left the room and Kyo turned to you. His expression softened the second he saw you.

"You look beautiful," he stuttered out with a blush. And you had to admit, he looked very sexy in that tux himself.

It was hard to form a coherent sentence with all the emotions jumbled up inside you, so you walked up to him and captured him in a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around your waist and buried his face in your hair.

"What's wrong? Tohru said you were nervous and couldn't stop freaking out," he voiced out what he heard.

An embarrassed flush tinted your cheeks and you looked into his flame-colored eyes. "I-I am just really antsy and the ceremony is in a couple of minutes and then I have something that's really important and I really want to tell you but I don't know how you will react...!"

You rushed out words and he tried to keep up with everything you said. Kyo bit the inside of his cheek and thought about what to say. "Well, uh, lets try it one thing at a time. What's the thing you want to talk with me about?"

"But that's the last thing I want to talk to you about right now!" You babbled out. He let out a sigh through his nose and kissed your forehead.

"But if you don't say it now, your going to make yourself sick thinking about it. Then you will ruin the party and blame yourself for all of it." Kyo reasoned it out.

Darn, he knew you too well.

So, you took a deep breath and gathered up all the courage you could muster and practically shouted out,

"You're going to be a dad!"

Maybe you should have told him after...
