I wasn't entirely sure, but I know that the last I heard was Ares had a temple in Montpelier, Vermont. I had a long journey ahead of me. And I was going to need a car. I couldn't ask Paul for his Prius, it already has hoof marks on the hood, and I didn't know when I was going to be back. So I was going to have to steal a car, fantastic.

I sighed doggedly as I walked up and down the streets, looking for something, anything that I could use. And I know what you're thinking. "Percy, just use Blackjack you idiot" well. I would but I feel as though he would strongly disagree with what I was about to do.

After a few hours I saw a Car dealership. I looked around to see if anybody was paying attention and decided to hone my sights on a car that was already owned. obviously I wouldn't be able to take one of the newer ones, the keys would be inside the building and it would be too difficult to take the keys, so I did the most obvious thing ever. I saw a young man and someone that looked like his girlfriend. He was tall, had an average build, black hair and tan skin. While she was on the shorter side, blonde hair and curvy. The reason they stood out to me was the key chain hanging ever so foolishly off of his belt loop. I strode quickly towards them and accidentally hit him in the back, slipping his lanyard into my jacket as I spun away.

"Hey! watch it asshole!" he seemed annoyed, but not necessarily angry.

I put on a sheepish face, being careful to keep his keys hidden and  my face genuine.

"Sorry..."

I quickly walked out of sight, seeming embarrassed. When I was sure I was safe I pulled his keys out of my pocket and started to examine them.  They appeared to belong to a Chevrolet. I walked along the parking lot, pressing the lock button repeatedly and waiting for a chirp to find the vehicle I had cleanly stolen.

After what seemed like a lifetime, I finally found the gunmetal gray Chevy silverado.  I quickly unlocked it and started the vehicle. It had a clean interior and smelled like vanilla.

"Nice truck....sorry I had to take it"

I quickly pulled out of the dealer and onto the highway knowing I was only hours away from facing my first godly enemy. My lips curled back into a snarl as I drove, My purpose seeming so much more clear.
