25- what's going on?!

3rd person POV

Angel let out a shaky laugh standing up

"Wh-"

she stopped before staring around. There was nothing but grey surrounding her in all sides.

"-oops..."

She turned a full circle and jumped when she came face to face with a girl. She was dark. Her hair was ashy grey only a hit of fallow gold left and her skin was ash, the clothes she wore where dark, faded colours like they hadn't been washed in years and the dye was draining away.

"Angel..?" The girl look up and angel froze staring into two soulless black eyes.

"Frankie?"

"You... you're here?.. how?"

"I fell over into something and- where is here exactly?"

"Nowhere and everywhere. Welcome to the void"

Frankie stared at the pale girl before them and sighed signalling angel to follow her.

"So the others must've figured it out. They need me to being them all back. Wondered how long that would take them but it's good to see that the old and the new are getting along"

"How do you know that?" Angel looked down at her hands only now realising that they where flesh.

Frankie reached out and sunk her nails into thin air and pulled.

A ripping noise echoed though the empty abyss and angel nearly laughed in relief seeing foxy.

"Finn! Finn! foxy! it's me angel!"

"He can't hear you. I've screamed myself hoarse trying to get them to hear me."

Angel reached out and touched what seemed to be solid air. She pushed and pummelled and stared at foxy as he cried.

"My lass please don't leave me again I need ye"

"Foxy..." angel felt something salty touch her lip, burning the cut there before she could wipe away the tear

Frankie closed the blind and angel jumped. She had forgotten about the faded girl beside her.

"I know why they want me back" she sighed. "It's because they don't. They need me back because they want to go back to living"

Angel frowned. "No offence but you're being stupid. You should've seen how upset Freddy was when he told them everything. Foxy told me about it and Chica laughed for days about it"

Frankie sniggered the odd noise filling her with a feeling of lightness she had not felt in decades.

"She has nothing to laugh about. Trust me when I say that guys are gross"

"I thought so!" Angel smiled before sighing. "Frankie. I'm going to be honest with you I dislike you. You're annoying and ignorant to others suffering at your words and hand."

Frankie bowed her head with a sigh.

"But look I know now why you did those things. And you could say I'm as ignorant because I left you in there without a second thought. I know why you did what you did and it was out of anger and fear."
