Nathan's POV
Days passed and each day that I spent it with Jamaica is a moment to treasure. I love how she made me feel so loved and cared for.
Everyday I thank God for giving me the best gift of my life.
Our relationship gets stronger and stronger. Well my mum, she still can't accept the fact that I chose Jamaica. I guess it'll be a long process to make her like my mine but I'll not give it up. I've given up before and I can't bear to lose the girl that made me sane all this time. Jamaica is my life and forever will be.
And to prove to her that I want her by my side forever, today I set-up a dinner date. This dinner will change everything and it will be a lifetime change for the both of us.
I asked Migs and Amy to help me with this. They let me borrow their restaurant at top of the hill. They let me borrowed their staff as well to decorate the whole place the way I wanted it to be- SPECIAL for the most special girl in my life.
(phone ringing)
"Hello Migs, what's up pare?"
"Nate, we're almost there. Grabe daming tanong ng girlfriend mo. Buti na lang magaling magpalusot asawa ko."
"Hehehe.. Sabihin mo kay Amy pagpatuloy lang niya mga palusot niya. Pero salamat talaga pare sa inyong mag-asawa. Di ko alam kung paano ko to magagwa lahat kung di dahil sa tulong ninyong dalawa. Pero ok naman na lahat. kinakabahan lang talaga ako."
"Dude, ganyan din ako nung gabing nagpropose ako kay Amy. Pero sa tuwing maaalala ko sobrang worth it naman pare. Lalo na nung tuluyan nang napasaakin ang babaeng pinakamamahal ko. Don't worry for sure maappreciate yan ni Jamaica. I'm really happy for you pre."
"Salamat talaga Migs."
"Ok sige. See you in about 10 minutes."
He hange-up and I started to have jitters. I never believe on what they usuallysay about having bautterflies in your stomach because I find it absurd. Pero ngayon naniniwala na ako. Sobra yung kabang nararamdaman ko. Kahit na sigurado akong tatangagapin naman ni Mine ang proposal nandun pa rin yung kaba. But to be honest I'm so happy that finally I'm going to ask for the hands of the girl I have dreamed of having for the rest of my life.
Ito na ata yung longest 10 minutes ng buhay ko. "Sir kalama lang po. Malapit na po yun."
Pagkakalma sa akin ni Jun and waiter/server namin for tonight.
"Salamat!" Sabay ngiti ko sa kanya.
Huminga ako ng malalim at unti-unti nawala ang kaba ko.
"Sir nandiyan na po sila."
Pagkasabi ni Mang Celso nun inayos ko ang polo ko at muling humugot ng isang malalim na hinga. Inabangan ko si Jamaica sa kinatatayuan ko.
"Amy, Migs san ba tayo? why do you guys have to blind fold me?" Naririnig kong pagtatanong ni Mine sa mga kaibigan namin.
"Jamaica just relax. We'll just have dinner." Pagpapalusot muli sa kanya ni Amy.
"Eh how can I relax I don't know where you guys are bringing me." Sabi ulit niya.
"Don't worry safe to. hahaha" Pagbibiro naman ni Migs sa kanya.
"Tsss. Stop it Migs lalo mo siyang pinapakaba." Pagsita sa kanya ni Amy.
Kulit din ng mga 'to eh. Kaya siguro sila ang best couple na ina-idolize ko kasi di nawawala yung spice ng realtionship nila. Actually sila ni Migs ang nagpapayo sa akin, actually sa amin kapag on the rocks kami ni Mine.
