Chapter ten: Red Roses (pt.2)

Jiyeon and HyeRin decided it'd be fun to hang out with the boys today at lunch.

I was about to object but they forced me. FORCED.

I sighed as I sat down on the bench. I noticed three of the guys missing.

"Where's Jimin?" HyeRin says. "Where Hobi?" Asks Jiyeon. "Where's Taehyung?" I ask. This made everyone look at me. I was confused before I realized what I said.

Damn. I meant to say it in my head. "Don't worry they'll be back soon." Namjoon said with a grin.

A few five minutes passed. And the door to the cafeteria opened. Revealing two boys.

It was Jimin and Hoseok. I was kind of upset that Taehyung wasn't there with them.

Wait. Why am I upset?

The two boys sat down. Looking at their significant other straight in the eyes. Yoongi gagged. "Can't I sleep in peace?" He says. Everyone at the table laughs. "Whatever just be quiet and no love sh*t better happen." He says.

"Hey! Stahp it! There are children here." Jin says, covering Jungkook ears.

Suddenly the doors open again. Revealing Taehyung. But something else.

He was holding roses. Dozens of roses.

I was shocked. What was he going to do? I thought.

He walked to the table. He had a nervous smile and I can see a few sweat drops on his face.

He stopped in front of me. "Y-y/n" he began. "These are for you" he stuttered.

He brought the roses he was holding in front of my face, giving them to me. I sigh and look him in the eye.

It felt so wrong. But, I had to do this.

"Taehyung," I say. He was really nervous. "I can't. I can't accept these. I'm sorry... 'V'" I say. Causing his eyes to go wide.

I didn't know what to do. He looked as if he was about to cry. "I can't share the same feelings... I'm sorry" I say.

His bottom lip quivered a little bit. His eyes were beginning to look glassy.

He was about to cry. Even if I don't know what my true feelings are, I still can't let him cry. And in front of the whole school.

He'd be a bigger target than before.

I quickly took the roses he had.

I walk out of the cafeteria and into the girls bathroom. I tried my best to hold in the tears that were forming in my eyes.

I'm really sorry... Taehyung... for giving you high hopes.
