A Farmer and a Princess (Zelda and Link. Twilight Princess)

Chapter 6

The next week, its Link's turn to make lunch.

Zelda's POV

I love having a lunch made by Link! He's such an amazing cook! I guess he's had a lot of practice, living on his own all his life... I could eat my weight in his soup! I also love our conversations, we can talk about anything! Funny, serious, sad, just anything!

Today was more of a sad conversation though, about him growing up alone, me losing my mother. It is nice though, to have someone to talk to... Why did I have to be born a Princess? Why did I have to become queen? All it means is more job less family and friends... And it's a mandatory job! Urgh, I hate it... I can't imagine not seeing Link every week...

I guess, I do want more than just a friend ship... But what would I say? How would I tell him? How would he react? Maybe I should just drop hints and see what happens? I got it! I'll invite him over tomorrow with a few of my friends, we can play some drinking games and stuff, then if we end up kissing I can tell from there!

*the next day, Zelda's small home just outside the castle*

Well, I'm just getting everything set up for today, it's gonna be great! I am nervous but, everything's gonna work out, it has to! Hm, I guess we just have to wait and see!
