Chapter 19 - Underground Plan?

MAMMON'S POV

I weakly walked towards my palace's entrance and just lay down on the floor, bleeding to death. That stupid Bahamut manage to hurt me and it's fucking hurt!

"Asteroth..." I called out with little energy I have.

I flinched when the pain suddenly came back. I waited for that damn woman before I heard series giggling when someone descending the stairs. "What the.." I heard footsteps coming towards me. "Mammon?" Asteroth turned my body around and examined the wound.

"Geez! That's deep. Don't look this way Mia, Naomi." Mia? Naomi? Seems like she's been busy. "I thought your going to give your twins back to Kairos. How is it possible that your in this kind of situation? The last wound didn't even healed properly yet!"

I grabbed Asteroth by the neck when the pain suddenly worsen! "GENTLY!" I yelled. Asteroth sighed. "I received some information about the Revolution Army and Kaelyns working together to kill us off. What should we do?" She asked while healing my wound. "Attack of course. There's no need to hold back." Asteroth nodded.

"Does the theory work? Having Kairos's blood devoured by the sword turned them back to a being?" She asked. "Yea. It works. Her face when she saw the twins were priceless including Bahamut and Fixra herself. They appeared in the arms of Bahamut." Asteroth released her hand from my abdomen.

I look down and was glad that the bleeding stop. "I'm curious about something. What is our top priority now that you gave the twins back to Kairos? What is the real purpose of this full scale war your going to create?" She asked while helping me up.

"Isn't it obvious? I'm going to be someone who now will protect the twins. Protect them with my life. Also we need to stop the council from doing whatever they're planning. I saw what's happening in Orman. It's already has began." I flinched when the wound still hurt even after it was close.

"Be careful!!" Asteroth immediately went to my side. "If you die, there's no one who will wield the scythe to its maximum power. I may be a splendid witch but none of us here is capable to use the scythe power to its 100% ." I laughed and turned to Naomi who looks like she's been crying. "Why are your eyes red?" I asked while walking up the stairs.

"I thought your going to ...." she didn't want to finish the words.

"Well I'm here now. I want to go to our room." She blushed when I say 'our room'. Her hands were trembling when she grabbed my arm and helped me walk. "Why are you trembling?" I asked. "Don't be scared anymore. I have achieved my goal from the use of humans. Now I'm going to use what I achieved to dethrone those scumbag council member."

"I'm not scared. Just.. im .. worried I might hurt you even more." I chuckled. "Im not hurt. How are you?" I asked when I saw a little bump on her belly. "I've been great. But Asteroth ... I'm sorry. What is Naomi and Mia's purpose being with me and Asteroth? At first it was just for our selfish desire but what about now that we agreed on keeping the baby? Are we a lover? Slave? Or is it a wife?

"As our wife." Asteroth finished while carrying Mia in bridal style towards my room.

She let Mia down and close the door behind her. "We need to talk in private." She placed a barrier around this room. "What's with the extra protection?" I joked. When I noticed she's not joking, I sighed. "What is it?" I asked.
