Chapter 22 - For me, Live On

THIRD PERSON POV

Fixra and Kairos opened their eyes simultaneously. They look around at this pitch black place and wondered where they are. "Kairos..." Fixra called out for her soulmate. "Are we dead?" The goddess asked the vampire. "I think so." Kairos replied as Fixra hugged her soulmate.

"No, not really. You're on verge of dying, that's all." Both of them was surprised by the sudden voice. They turn around and nobody was there. "Who are you?" Kairos asked, looking at their surrounding.

"Even on verge of death, you still protected your soulmate. What an amazing soulmate." That mysterious voice said. "Don't play games with us!" Kairos was impatient.

"I'm here." They both turned to the left side and there it was, the owner of the voice. A beautiful .... winged angel?

"Those black wings.. Serafall?" Kairos asked the mysterious woman. "It is I. Welcome to my domain." Serafall greeted them. "Serafall? No it can't be." Fixra took a step forward.

"Sister? Is that you?" Kairos was shocked. "Yes Fixra, it is I. How are you?" Serafall asked.

"Well, I'm dying." Serafall laughed. "Sorry. My bad." Serafall landed on the ground and walked towards her sister. "The last time I seen you was when you were 10  years old. Right before father banished me to this place."

Serafall smiled and hugged her sister. "You followed my footstep didn't you?" She asked the goddess. "Love is greater." She smiled at Kairos. "Will you both die and leave your twins alone? Or will one of you survive?" Serafall suddenly asked.

"From the wound, the killer used a sacred weapon that burn any type of flesh when it made contact. There's only one way and that is to use the holy blood that still inside your veins sister." Serafall turned to Kairos again. "That's mean you have to sacrifice your life for the sake of your soulmate. Or, will you take the life of your soulmate and live on?"

Fixra began to cry. "No! You will live. Take my life, I want you to live on. I don't know if I can even be alive not having you there by my side." Fixra cried.

Kairos shake her head. "You will and you shall take care of the Twins." Kairos grasp both Fixra's shoulder and smiled. "Even if I'm manage to be alive, I won't be able to do much. I will give you the power of the demon princess and Kai will be living inside the ancient sword that belongs to my grandmother." Kairos smiled.

"I can't live on if my body was completely incremented. I have no vessel now but you do. You will take care of this bond we have and Kai will be there to support you." Kairos kissed her soulmate forehead.

Kairos turned to Serafall. "Is it possible to keep the bond with my inner vampire?" She asked the winged creature. "It's possible. What I'm trying to think here is why didn't your inner vampire reacted when that goddess stabbed you?" Serafall asked. "Kai was badly wounded after the fight with Hana. She's been travelling to the Zadicus secret garden to recuperating" Kairos explained.

"No worries, all you have to do is called out for Kai and she will know what happened. Please Serafall, help my soulmate to achieve her goal." Kairos begged.

"I'll do anything for my little sister beside, that witch with the name of Mammon giving her own life essence to Fixra. She's trying to keep her heart alive." For once Kairos actually glad to be near Mammon.

Kairos nodded. "Remember this. You will live on. Summon Kai's power when you awaken from this nightmare. Summon Kai and she will come to you." Kairos leaned in and gave Fixra one last kiss. "For me, live on, my queen." Kairos whispered when she pulled away.

Fixra opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was Mammon's breast bouncing on top of her. "Fixra?" She called out but Fixra didn't respond. She turned to the side where Kairos was and her soulmate is gone except for her ashes. Fixra let her tears of blood flow down her cheek and asked Mammon to moved.
