chapter two ▹ start ~~~~~
Madison-Sadie was not happy when she was told to stay out of sight. She wondered if the others knew of all of her powers. All she could wonder is, why would they come after a fifteen year old girl, who's been barely making it? She's been ever so careful, about leaving tracks behind, she thought.
Peeking around the truck she was behind, she saw a man, in a spandex suit, grab Captain's shield, with some sort of string. Webs, she concluded. Spider-Man! She's ran into him before.
~~~~~
Madison-Sadie teleported in front of the burglars. It was three against one. In normal situations, Madison-Sadie would've been defeated. She quickly sidestepped out of one's way and managed to flip him on his back, his head hitting the asphalt, sending him out cold.
Madison-Sadie's senses are on 100. Even though she was fighting two more people, she noticed every other aspect, as she was handing the situation. The shattered glass on the floor, and how the streetlight was hitting the glass at the perfect angle to create a rainbow of colors. How something, someone, was swinging across the rooftops toward her. She quickly made work of the last two, sending them into unconsciousness.
She pulled out rope, and some zip ties, from her black backpack. She dragged each of the men, and the woman, to a street pole, and searched them quickly for any weapons. After tossing the weapons out of their reach, Madison-Sadie zip tied their hands and feet together, then wrapped secured them with the heavy duty rope to the street pole, with of course her note for the police.
A figure dropped out of the trees, and casually strolled over to Madison-Sadie.
She made sure to pull the scarf up to her eyes, so all the figure, he, could see was her eyes and forehead. She carefully used her levitation powers to take some of the valuables that the thieves unknowingly recovered for her. She sent them to her backpack that was a couple of feet behind her, she hoped that the man couldn't see what just happened.
"So, I'm guessing you don't need help?" He said, the voice sounded around her age group.
Madison-Sadie shook her head no, and gestured to the three thugs, who were anchored to the pole. She learned that if she responded with words, it was easier for someone to remember who you are, so she played the mute card.
