I stayed up almost all night thinking about school, like what I will wear and how much better it will be of selena is there, I just have a feeling it's going to be a great day but I don't want my thoughts getting the best of me, I woke up to the annoying buzz of my alarm clock, I had a huge smile on my face I jumped out of my bed running down stairs.
"morning mom!" I said kissing her cheek, grabbing the glass of milk that was waiting for me on the counter.
"You seem to be in a good mood," she told me.
I nodded and finished the glass.
"I guess."
Laughing, I ran back upstairs getting the perfect outfit I had in my head planned. I grabbed the white leather jacket and the black undershirt, then slid on my pattern leggings and combat boots, looked in the mirror and smiled running back down the stairs beginning to eat.
"You're dressed well, wow is there's a special event today?" my mom asked I shrugged and finished chewing what was left if the eggs I had.
"Not really, just felt like dressing up a little" I said as my mom nodded. I looked over at the clock and my eyes widened. I sprinted up the stairs and grabbed my backpack and ran out the door, "bye mom," I yelled trying the catch the bus.
I just turned the corner and the bus was already there, I began running faster and it left without me, I threw my backpack down and sat down on the curb and folded my arms resting them on my knees. I buried my head in my arms thinking " I have to go to school today, I have to see Selena" I felt my face getting warm and tears filling my eyes. I just sat there for a while and got up if the bus wasn't going to wait for me I will walk. I was walking and watching all the cars passing me. I wish I could actually pass my drivers test so I don't have to worry about this. I put in my headphones and kept walking.
My school was pretty far away but I am determined now. It took a long time but I finally made it to school.
I walked in and I was already late I walked into the gym late and everyone stared at me like I just killed someone.
"sorry I'm late,"I murmured to the teacher and ran to the locker room to change. When I walked out Selena wasn't there, I looked everywhere and couldn't see her I just sat there like I do on a normal day if she wasn't there.
"Grab partners for this unit,"
Mr. Cooper yelled to the class I heard Madison yell "Selena isn't here today but I want her as my partner" Mr. Cooper looked around and said "you can be her partner when she's here, everyone needs one today, were doing tennis" Madison frowned and looked around "go," Mr.Cooper yelled, as all the kids scattered around looking for a partner.
I just sat there and waited until the teacher paired me up with someone I didn't know. Everyone had a partner except me
"Well there is a few students gone today so the class is uneven, you can be my partner," he said as I nodded hearing laughing around me.
"Oh her only friend," I heard someone whisper.
I didn't even bother looking at who it was. Me and the teacher began to hit the ball back and fourth. When I heard footsteps walk up
"Sorry I slept in Mr. Cooper," I turned around to see Selena there. She looked at me and smiled.
"It's alright, get dressed and you can pick a group to join," she nodded and jogged into the locker room. I watched her until she disappeared into the room. I looked over at the teacher and we hit the ball back and fourth for a little more until I heard the door open again and she came running out in a baggy purple shirt and short shorts,
"You can pick a group to join" Mr. Cooper said
She looked
Around and ran up to Madison hugging her, I swear anybody could have seen the disappointment on my face, I feel like my heart just shattered into a million pieces I felt my eyes start to puff up a little and I needed a excuse to leave
"Mr. Cooper I don't feel good, can I please sit out" he looked at his shiny silver wrist watch and nodded I ran over to the locker room and just before entering I dared to glance over at her, when I looked over she had looked in my direction at the same Time, I looked away quickly and walked into the locker room.
I sat on the bench by my locker and buried my face in my palms, I sobbed and sobbed at the thought that Selena doesn't want to been seen with me at school, I knew my mind was getting the best of me in that dream I had, I should have known that a beautiful girl like her wouldn't want to be near me publicly, I heart the bell ring and tried to pull myself together for my next hour.
I walked into my next hour which of course had Selena in it, she sat next to me and I heard a faint "hey" I looked over and she was looking at me with a cute little smile I smiled back "h-hi" I replied, I haven't realized I wasn't completely over it yet when my voice trembled and I quickly looked down hoe ping she didn't notice and thankfully she didn't.
Madison walked in and yelled "SEL" like she hadn't just seem her, everyone looked over and Selena and gave her big smiled and stuff, I don't understand how someone can become so popular so quickly, I turned to ask her how her night went yesterday without me "hey how wa--" I was cut off when Madison sat down and Selena gave her all her attention, I was so upset I went through the whole day without talking to anyone at all.
When I got home I went straights to my music room, when I have a bad day it went I write good music, all my emotions can just flow out onto paper, I played around with a few keys and began to record:
