(The edit above is Uriel's. I know that it's kind of lazy but it's something.)
Phoenix's POV:
I flew back to my castle, my dad had a glass of whiskey in it and my mother was trying to calm him down it seemed. I slowly tried to run pass them, thankfully they did not see me. I turned the corner and stayed there for a couple minutes thinking they would start talking. My luck they actually did.
"I don't know what to do with her, Sabrina!" My dad put his head in his hand and sighed.
"Give her time love.. she'll grow on him, maybe we will put them on a date tomorrow so they can get to know each other." My mother said with a soft tone,
"Okay," my dad agreed, "you go know and tell her."
My mother started to walk up to the corner where I was at, I ran into my room shut the door and hopped on my bed. My mother then walked in with a innocent smile on her face,
"Yes mother?" I groaned
"Oh my darling so Uriel is going to take you on a date tomorrow, you and I should pick out a dress!" She smiled and folded her arms.
"I'm not going on a date with someone who I don't even like! Heavens knows who he really is! Maybe a killer, or a rapist!" I tried to make up excuses..
"Uriel is a nice boy I'm sure you'll grow attached to him." My mother rolled her eyes and looks at my closet.
She grabbed my arm and pulled me over to my closet.
"Look at this isn't it beautiful?" She held up a white dress with red lace on the bottom.
"I am never gonna wear that." I scoffed.
She then put the dress back and grabbed a white and red a-line dress, the skirt part was red while the strapless top was white.
"This is your last fancy dress and I think it'll look very nice on you." She nodded to herself.
"Fine!" I groaned again.
I went back to my bed and screamed in my pillow.
I didn't do much after that just stayed in my room and fell asleep..
The next day is gonna be hell.Delta's POV:
It was the next day. I decided to stay on the surface for the night. I watched the sun rise. It was beautiful at night on the surface. Little light bugs flew around and I heard other bugs making weird chirping noises. I also tended to just stop where I was and stare at the sky. Little balls of light and the moon lite up the sky. I stopped thinking about the night and started to walk back to the beach. I was staring to get really dehydrated. I forgot to drink water last night. I stopped at the edge where the beach and forest meet. I saw Phoenix with a different dragon. I hid behind a tree and watched them. Phoenix was in a beautiful red and white dress with a different dragon with a dark red suit on. My heart sank to the bottom of the ocean. She was with a another dragon. I felt my eyes tear up. I wiped my eyes off and kept watching.
"What do you want to do now dearie?" the male dragon asked in a sweet tone.
"This is fine right now Uriel," Phoenix told him.
She looked unamused. I laughed quietly. She looked like she hated him. He jumped in front of her.
"I'm sure there is something you would like to do queen," he half joked.
"This is fine," Phoenix repeated but with more anger.
I slowly started my way toward the water behind them. I stepped on a stick and it cracked and made a loud noise. Uriel spun around and saw me. He pushed Phoenix behind him and she rolled her eyes. He pulled out a sword and pointed it in my general direction. I stepped back a bit. Sure he sounded like a complete hopeless romantic but he was intimidating.
"Be gone!" he yelled at me.
I covered my mouth and snickered. I couldn't take him seriously. Phoenix sighed and and pushed his sword down.
"Calm down Romeo," she stepped in front of him, "She harmless."
Uriel put his sword back up and looked at Phoenix like she was insane.
"How do you know that? She may look like nothing but she might be able to kill both of us in an instant!" he told Phoenix.
I felt bad for Phoenix. Her parents were making her date this joke. I sighed. Maybe he would get better after marriage?
"I know that she won't because I know her," she gestured me to come over, "Delta come over here you have someone to meet!"
I walked over and bowed once I got there. I wanted to seem some what proper. Uriel put away his sword but glared at me.
"I am Delta, daughter of Merlin and North," I introduced myself.
"I'm Uriel, son of Lumos and Jacklin," he said quickly, "Also know as the Prince of the West Kingdom."
"Princess of the North Kingdom," I added on, "May I ask why you're with Phoenix?"
"I am taking this beautiful dragon on a date," he said happily.
He pulled Phoenix closer to him and side hugged her.
"Personal space there buddy," she says while pushing him away.
He looked really depressed for a moment before returning to a neutral state. I smiled and reached a hand out toward Phoenix to gesture her dress. Uriel pulled out his sword and put it at my throat. I froze and closed my eyes.
"Put your hand down," he said sternly.
I slowly put my hand back at my side and opened my eyes. Phoenix turned to Uriel and slapped him. She left a red hand mark on his face. I snickered.
"I'm sorry my love is shouldn't of acted like that," he said while leaning into her face.
He grabbed the back of her head and pulled her in and kissed her. While they were kissing I ran into the water and swam down. I couldn't handle that. My heart broke like a fragile piece of coral.
