Delta's POV:

I woke up to something nudging my face. I opened my eyes slowly to see the little fish. I smiled at it.
"Good morning little buddy," I said calmly while getting up.
I looked around. I had almost forgot that I was here and not in the castle. I sighed and got up. I will do something about Phoenix getting married. I started to swim around in a circle. The little fish trailed behind me.
"I couldn't crash the wedding," I said out loud, "I would get killed. I couldn't sneak very close to where she lives, the guards will see me."
I stopped circling and got a good idea.
"I could get Fern to make a costume for me so I can sneak in," I told myself.
I threw my fist up in joy. If I can get Fern to make me a costume and nothing goes wrong, I could save Phoenix from a loveless marriage. I gently grabbed the fish's fins and spun it around. It looked happy as well. I swam out of the cave and waved to the little fish. I'll visit their family again someday. They are a lovey school of fish.

I swam up to the surface and scanned for any type of guard. I didn't see anyone. I stepped out of the water. It felt good to be on the surface again. I took a deep breath then ran into the forest. I soon stopped and looked around. I heard faint humming. It sounded like Fern. I walked over to the humming noises and I was right.
"Fern!" I said happily.
"Oh, Delta," she gasped, "How are you still up here?"
"Well first of all," I stopped myself in mid sentence, "Wait. How do you know I'm not supposed to be here?"
"Umm," she said quickly.
"Never mind," I hugged her really quickly,"I need your help."
She took a step back so she could look at my face. I forgot that she was a little shorter than me.
"With what?" she tilted her head.
"I need you to make me look like a dragon," I told her.
"Wait, you're going to crash the wedding," her eyes lite up with excitement, "Of course I'll help you! How much time do we have?"
I looked up at the sun to see what position it was in. It was almost done rising.
"How much time do you need?" I asked her.
"A couple hours," she said.
"We have time," I smiled.
She smiled widely and pulled a long vine off of a tree. She straightened it out and held it against me. I stepped back a bit to regain balance.
"Hold still," she muttered.
She continued to measure me. She used a stick to make little engravings on the vine. She coiled it up.
"I'll be back in a bit," she said, "Stay here. Got it?"
"Got it," I said before I sat down.
She ran off into the forest.

It was a couple hours before she came back with a whole outfit. Wings and all. She handed it to me.
"What are you waiting for put it on!" she said eagerly.
I put it on and it fit perfectly. I smiled at her and she smiled back.
"You're ready," she said with a small smile.

Phoenix's POV:

My mom was puffing out the bottom of my dress as I looked out the window I was in front of, I saw my father walking with Uriel.
"Mother?" I said with a soothing tone.
"Yes honey." She looked up at me then stood up.
"What if I don't want to marry Uriel?" I looked at her.
"I'm sorry my sweet, but your father and I will pass and you will not have a man to have kids with and keep our kingdom going." She took a step back, "awe my little girl getting married, I can't believe it."
I kept staring out the window.
"I will be back my love." My mom walked out the door.
"These shoes are killing me." I had said to myself.
I turned to a mirror.
"Why do I have to do this?" I thought to myself.
There was a knock at the window.
I looked out the window once more and saw, Fern?
I was confused..
She kept pointing to the door.
I heard the door open and I assumed it was my mother.
"Mom-" I turned around and was shocked.
There was a dragon that was white. White dragons are from the South why would one be here?
"Who are you? Uriel?!" I cried out.
"Ssh!" The white dragon had put her finger in front of her mouth as she closed the door quietly, "its me delta! Fern made me a costume."
"Delta?!" I was shocked, "you need to get out of here!"
"No I've come to rescue you!"
"Why?!"
"Because.. because, I love you!" She ran up to me.
I blushed a bit and she grabbed my hand.
"Now lets go." She smiled at me.
She opened the door and we ran across the hall.
"Where is the closest exit?" She whispered to me.
"Down here!" I pointed to another hallway.
We ran until we hit a corner and someone passed by.
They saw us.
"Madam Phoenix?" One of our servants looked a me confused.
"Ember Oh! Hello!" I smiled.
"What are you doing here, you are supposed to be in the dressing room until the wedding starts and who is this?" She looked at delta.
"I wanted some water, and this is my friend! Her name is.. uh Blaze! That's her name! We met when I was out flying once." I crossed my arms.
"We'll hurry back to the room after you get something to drink, your prince will be back soon. Then the wedding will start."
"Okay!" I smiled then after she left I rolled my eyes.
"Prince my ass." I whispered to myself.
We ran the the outside doors.
"Whoa!" Delta had seemed surprised, "there's no stairs."
"Delta I'm a dragon!" I grabbed her hands and flew down slowly so no one saw me.
I landed in the forest, and fern ran up to us.
"You guys where close Uriel just got back to the castle!"
I laughed
"I can't believe we just did that." I smiled.
"It's not over yet Phoenix." Delta had looked worried.
"Right... my parents and Uriel.." I sighed and looked down.
"Lets find somewhere we can hide, come on!" Delta started to run off.
What have I gotten myself into?
