Phoenix's POV:
He kissed me, he kissed me!
I pushed him away.
"My love-"
"Don't you dare call me that you sick bastard!"
"But-"
"Don't! No buts!" I started to run off out he grabbed me and hugged me.
"I'm sorry is there anything I could do to make you feel better..?" He let go of me and put his hand in my shoulder.
"Yes," I said in a quiet tone, "leave me alone!"
"I'm sorry but I cannot do that.." he sighed, "I have a question, why are you friends with that sea serpent..?"
"She has a name, its delta and you be quiet do not tell my parents!" I clenched my fist.
"I won't tell them if you kiss me again." He cupped my cheek.
"Again?!" I yelled.
"Yes again." He smiled.
"Fine!" I sighed loudly..
Right before my lips touched his I heard my name being called by delta but it was to late..
Before I knew it my lips met his..
I saw delta out of the corner of my eye as Uriel slithered his hands around my waist and tugged on my skirt. My eyes widened.
"Hey! Don't touch her like that!" I heard delta yell.
I pushed Uriel back as he pulled out his sword once more.
"Put that thing away Uriel!" I yelled.
"No I must protect my queen at all cost! I have made a promise to your parents!"
"What promise?!" Delta had yelled.
"Uriel! What is the fucking promise!" I had yelled at him.
He put his hands over his ears.
"I promised your parents to leave a mark on you!" He dropped to his knees.
"You what?!" Delta got angry.
"You promised my parents to make love to me?!" I fell to the ground.
"I'm sorry my queen.." tears had formed at the corner of his eyes, "I know I shouldn't have promised, but I did..."
I stood up, my parents knew my only weakness which was promises.
"Well.. a promise is a promise," I looked down at my hands "come on Uriel" I gestured my hand up to him..
"Wait you really?" A tear dropped from Deltas eye.
"I'm sorry delta, I have to go.." I said as Uriel picked me up and flew off...
We made love for an hour or so...
Being my first time and his we took it slow..
After he got off of me he apologized and laid down with me..
He kissed my cheek and I wrap myself around him to keep warm..
"Do you even want to get married..?" He said while stroking my hair..
"No not really, but my parents are making me."
"Mine are too, you seem like a really nice girl but I want to be free and be able to marry who I want."
"I agree.." I closed my eyes as he kissed my forehead, I slowly drifted to sleep.
I awoke to him asleep, I got up and out my clothing on again.
I flew back to the beach to see if delta was still there..
Delta's POV:
After Phoenix flew off with Uriel I ran into the forest. Soon after I started running, I tripped on a stick and face planted. I got up and leaned against a tree. I felt my eyes tearing up. I rubbed them quickly to try and stop them from crying. It didn't work very well. I ended up covering my face with my hands and sinking down to the floor. I heard someone coming.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" I heard Fern call.
"It's just me," I tried to say normally.
Fern saw me and flew over to me quickly. She sat next to me and started rubbing my back gently.
"What happened?" she asked me.
"Well," I hesitated, "Can I tell you a secret?"
"Sure," Fern said eagerly.
"I like Phoenix," I mumbled.
Fern gasped and stopped rubbing my back. I guess I shouldn't of really expected her to be okay with it.
"Why?" she asked me, "She's a dragon and you're a serpent."
"I'm not sure. There is just something about her that makes me like her," I said.
"Why did you tell me this?" Fern asked me.
"She just fucked another man because of a shitty promise," I said while I started to cry a little more thinking about it.
"Does she love him?" Fern asked.
"No before all this she told me she loved someone else," I muttered.
"Who is?" she asked.
"She didn't tell me," I said.
Fern gasped happily and clapped her hands. I looked at her. She had a wide smile on her face.
"She probably likes you!" Fern said while clapping.
"I doubt that. You just said it yourself. I'm a serpent and she's a dragon," I told her.
"Forget what I said this is amazing you probably found someone!" Fern said and hugged me, "Maybe you two can bring peace between you're kingdoms!"
"Maybe," I said with a weak smile.
She lightly hit my arm.
"Cheer up. She probably likes you and not that other dragon," Fern said.
"She's getting married to that other dragon," I sighed.
"Willingly?" Fern asked.
"No," I said.
"You could stop the wedding," she suggested.
"I would get my head chopped off in two seconds," I told her.
"I don't have any other ideas then," Fern shrugged, "Maybe she'll not marry him."
"Doubt that," I mumbled.
"Well, I got nothing else to tell you," Fern stood up and started to walk away, "Good luck."
"Thanks," I muttered before standing up.
I patted my cloths off and started walking back toward the beach. Once I arrived at the beach I saw Phoenix walking slowly along the shore line. I walked up next to her.
"Hey," I said quietly hoping I wouldn't scare her.
"What do you want Delta?" Phoenix asked me.
"I just saw you walking and figured I could join," I told her with a small smile.
"I'm not really doing much of anything but okay," she shrugged.
"I'm sorry for asking this but did you two really, you know, do it?" I asked.
"Yes," she said emotionlessly.
"I have one more question," I looked at her.
"Yes?" she looked at me.
"You know when you told me you said you liked someone else," I hesitated, "Is that someone me?"
She froze completely and stared at me.
