(TRIGGER WARNING)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Willow? Willow wake up! You're burning alive what's wrong? Oh my gosh wake up Willow!" I feel a chilling hand on forehead that sends a shock through me, but I can't move or open my eyes. I don't even know whose speaking to me, they seem so far away. It'll all be gone soon.
"Willow! Open your eyes! Talk to me sweetie!" Whoever it is is shaking me and screaming my name over and over. Why won't they just let me go? "Dammit Willow wake up! What did you do?"
They let go of me and I can hear them walking around. "Oh my gosh!" I can hear the few pills that are left rattle around in their bottle. Oops I guess they found them. "Willow where did you get these? Oh dear God what are these?"
I'm pretty sure it's my mother now. I thought she wasn't going to be back for hours.
The bottle drops and hits the floor, pills scattering everywhere. "Oh my gosh I need to call 911 oh my gosh, oh my gosh." I can hear the panic in her voice. She wasn't supposed to see this.
"Hello! I need to report an emergency! Oh my gosh my daughter! She overdosed! I just found her on the bathroom floor and a pill bottle in the sink! I don't know what she took! Someone please hurry!"
She was never supposed to be here. She wasn't supposed to be home. She told me she would be at work all night. I was supposed to be dead within an hour, but I guess she came home sometime after I was engulfed in darkness. I could hear her voice but it's like I'm underwater. I want to go completely under.
I can feel her holding me in her arms, rocking me side to side. "Don't leave me Willow, please please don't leave me. I don't know what I'd do without you. Please just hold on, they're on their way. Stay with me Willow I love you so much."Her words were tearing me up inside, I wanted to die. I wanted everything to end but I didn't think about how she'd react.
I can hear the sirens and my mother saying my name over and over between sobs. A soft voice speaks to me. "Not yet little sis, you'll be okay, I promise."
