Cleo went home and screamed in her pillow. "I'm so sick of men" she says to herself. It's felt good to have two options but they both have tempers and jealousy issues. If she had to pick which one she wouldn't know. Even after fucking Lawerence she still has a strange gut feeling about him. Not to mention he's a gang leader her life will be in danger being around him.
As for Lucas he's sweet yet mysterious. When he said Lawerence's father killed his father is it possible that was a lie, was that really out of jealousy? His last assistant did that really happen? This summer is supposed to be full of fun now it's full of problems. It's so much on Cleo's mind. The only way to get everything back to normal is quit working for Lawerence and stay away maybe go out of town. She calls her cousin Ashton she is the best.
Ashton lives in another city which is great. It's even better because Cleo's college choice in that city. Getting away from her city where she spent all her life at maybe the change she really needs. Ashton answers the phone whispering she's at work. "Sorry but I was wondering if I can stay with you for a while. I'll be going to Dawn's community college and I'll get a job to help with bills. I really need to get away, my best friend already leaving out of state." Cleo says. "That's fine I only ask that you help pay the rent and stay in school while you down here." Ashton said. Cleo couldn't believe she agreed but why wouldn't she?
Now to break the news to her mom. What about Mimi? Seems like they are not friends anymore. To think this all started with two dumb, bad boy, player boys. She got up out of her bed and started packing. Rip posters off her walls, taking her clothes out of hangers, empty out her nightstand. Her nightstand full of memories. Her clothes was mostly picked out by Mimi due to her fashion sense. The posters from when she was 13 till now. She carefully removed them, they hold memories like a picture.
The next day she woke up with one mission quit her job. Walking in the building she saw Mimi and tried to avoid eye contact. The tension was so thick you can cut it with a knife look like she came to quit too. What's worse is they both have to talk to Sophia if they want to quit so standing next to each other like strangers is awkward. Cleo held back tears as Sophia asked her why she wanted to quit. "I'm moving out of town. It was nice working here though." She says. She signed off her name and headed towards the door. Before she could even get her body through the door she got pulled back inside.
"Where are you going?" Lawerence asked. Cleo ignores him but he wasn't having that. "Cut the act Cleo, you need to start working. I know you maybe still be sore from last night." He said flirtatiously. Cleo faces right to deliver a smack to his face. "Fuck you I'm not one your little hoes and I quit." Cleo said angry. He didn't know what to say he was in shock, "wh..what you quit? I'm sorry I been giving you a hard time. I know it's hard to look at me after last night." He says. "All you care about is sex what about Love? Do you even feel it so leave me alone." Cleo said she exists.
She hurries back home before Lucas pops up. But she can't help she like a magnet.
