Back at the office Lawerence is reminiscing about what Cleo said. It's been stuck in his head for two days he isn't able to focus on anything. And it's making his father very mad at him.
The door opens and his father walks in with a purpose. He stands in front of his desk. "Boy you fucked up again with the assistant didn't you? I know you did." Fester said. Lawerence chuckled, "Cleo and yea I did but I ended it before you did. No need to make her run off and never come back she's already doing it." He says. His father claps and claps to the point it annoys Lawerence. Sophia walks in without knocking seeing the look of annoyance on her sons face she saw it many times.
Ever since he was 13 he was trained to take over one day over the time his father got more aggressive with him there wasn't a day Sophia would be holding her son even know he wouldn't dare shed a tear he would be sad. Every time she did though Fester would be angry with her he never hit her but he would do other things to scare her. She regrets the night she woke up and found Lawerence holding a gun to his father's head she toke the gun.
"What's going?" She asked. Fester turns around and shouts, "He doesn't need to be baby'd he's going through a little heartbreak and not focusing on catching Logan's son! Pathetic!" Lawerence rolls his eyes and got up out his chair. "For your information I had somebody keep an eye on Cleo since the incident and she was seen with lover boy. He's seem suspicious so I'm going to meet him today." He said.
Fester shakes his head. "And no I'm not doing it because of the girl." Lawerence leaves the room with only his parents left Sophia had about enough of Fester. "This needs to stop give him a break he can find love he can have a life outside this it's not like you're retiring this year or next. I never wanted this for him but you just had to be greedy." Sophia says before being interrupted. Fester walks closely to her and said, "Well I wasn't the only one being greedy you got everything you ever dreamed of never even had to work, clean, or cook. Yet you are not happy I demand respect! I'm the breadwinner"
As he walked to the door Sophia shouts, "I rather have nothing! I can't do this anymore I want a divorce!" Fester stops and laughs but it was no joke. "You honestly think I'm going to let that happen. You will die without me and Lawerence will never forgive you for being a stupid bitch. I will retire he WILL take my place." He says. He smacks her hard and than he exits out the door. Meanwhile Lawerence is having a man to man with Lucas at a seafood restaurant. Lucas works at this restaurant so it was perfect timing. He walked in and asked for Lucas he was not the least bit surprise to Lawerence.
He sat down with Lucas at a booth.
"This is about Cleo I'm guessing" Lucas said. "Yes and no I feel like there's animosity between us over Cleo. I have a feeling you like Cleo." Lawerence said. Lucas shakes his head and say, "Yes I do and I feel like you like her as well. So you stalked me for that, yea I know somebody was following me. Not everybody is dumb." He takes a sip out of his drink. It was an awkward silence than Lucas spoke again, "I don't trust you like you don't trust me now got to get back to work."
