When we got to his pack, I immediately fell back asleep on Hunter's bed. When I woke up, he was gone. I decided to get up and looked for the bathroom.

When I got up, I noticed there were two doors on either side of the room and a door at the front and the back of the room. The room was also very basic, with a queen-size bed, a couch, and a coffee table.

I went towards the door to the right, which was the bathroom. I looked at my reflection. My eyes were puffy and my hair was a mess. I grabbed the brush that was on the counter and calmed my hair down to its natural style.

I walked out and to the other door on the other side of the room. I opened the door to a huge walk-in closet. One side had men's clothes and the other side had women's clothes, all brand new, with the tags still on them.

I walked out of the closet and out the door on the front wall. I started walking down the hall when I heard, "Where are you going, beautiful?"

I stopped in my tracks and said, "I don't know."

I heard him chuckle and wrap his arms around my waist.

I turned to look at him and realized it was Hunter. "Let's go to the office. You can hang out there with me", he said, grabbing my hand.

He walked me down to the elevator and to the bottom floor.

He walked me through hallways until we reached his office. He opened the door and he sat me in one of the chairs in front of his desk.

"Are you hungry?", Hunter said, smiling.

I nodded. He left and all that was left was me and his office.

I got up and explored the room. He had many things lining his walls: Family portraits, sports awards. His office was organized and simple, just like the bedroom. I sat in his office chair and started looking through what he was working on. He was mostly looking at maps of the pack territory and the lists of his pack warriors. I sparked interest in that even though I knew he would never let me participate in anything with the warriors. I was still gonna try though.

He chuckled and my gaze shot up from his work. He started stalking towards me with a granola bar in his hands.

"Didn't I put you in that chair?", he said, pointing at the chair I was originally sitting in.

I gulped and stared at his tall figure. He was almost 6 feet compared to my 5 feet 2 inches. I would be lying if I said I wasn't scared as hell.

He waved the granola bar in my face and when I reached out to grab it, he pulled it away.

He chuckled, "Get out of my chair first."

He put the granola bar above my head, causing me to giggle and stand up. He walked around the desk and sat in the chair, pulling me into his lap. I giggled and stared into his beautiful green eyes. He put his hand on the back of my neck and started leaning in.

I looked away from him and felt my eyes well up with tears.

"What's wrong, princess?", he asked, pulling my chin back towards him. I felt a few tears slip away from me and fall onto his hand.

"I can't just give away my first kiss to someone I just met."

He pulled my head into his chest and wiped away my tears. My wolf was exploding with joy and pleasure. She felt warm and fuzzy inside, knowing our mate loved us.
