As he started walking towards me, Axe was growling and snapping at him. One of his guards took Axe's leash and pulled him outside. As they took him, he started barking like he was going to get back to me.
He still approached me with his hands out as if I was going to grab on to them. Instead, I kicked him in the shin. He seemed unaffected and kept walking towards me. I gave up on fighting him. he was no match for me. He put his arms on my back and in the crease of my knees.
"Do you need anything in here?", he asked, while I was still sobbing.
He walked over to my bed, grabbed my phone and blanket, and walked outside. As we walked out, the people in my pack stared at me. His guards were waiting patiently in his car. We both got into the backseat of the car and they drove away.
My head was resting on his shoulder while I sat in his lap. He kept staring at me and brushing the hair and tears off my face.
"Can you stop, please?", I said, in a hushed voice.
"What's your name, beautiful?", he said.
I lifted my head, "One, don't call me that. Two, my name's Brooklyn."
He smiled, "I'm Hunter."
I shook my head and started crying again. Hunter wrapped his arms around me, "What's wrong?"
I shook my head some more, "I want to go home."
He kissed my forehead, "We are going home."
Then it hit me, "Where's Axe?"
Hunter who laughed, "He's in the car behind us. You'll see him soon, my love."
I nodded my head and sat up. I pushed myself of his lap and sat in the seat next to him. I would've felt better if Axe was in the same car as me but I couldn't think about that because my wolf was going insane.
I slept for the rest of the drive. When we arrived at his pack, Hunter carried me to the packhouse. You could tell the pack was huge by the packhouse. It was 3 stories and the third story was just for the highest ranks in the pack.
As we walked into the house, I felt the eyes on us. We rode the elevator up to the third floor and walked to his room. When we walked in, he set me down on his bed. It smelled like him and I curled into it. I heard him chuckle as he leaned down and kissed my cheek.
